This game proves that it is not necessary to fill the story with different women or unusual elements. All you need is one (or a few) super attractive women and a believable, well-worn story. It's surprising and sad that other developers don't understand this. They try to find success by stupidly innovating and making their games more complex. A good, believable story, believable progress, a few super attractive women, slow burn. Those are the keys, as I understand it.
