Noone knows for certain, there's been a lot of speculation. As far as I know the dev has a long history of randomly abandoning games midway through. Some say his PC broke down, others say he stopped working on the game due to the Ukraine-Russia war (the dev is Russian), last two has been confirmed through posts on Patreon I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just writing what I remember reading

Nothing of what is said is certified, the only certain thing is that this dev belongs to that category that abandons projects (this is his second project of this type, at least with this nickname) and in this environment, unfortunately, there are more and more devs with this tendency to abandon, especially when they can't milk their supporters according to their plans.

Escape from being drafted into the Military. Not every country is liberal and have the same rules that you know per se. And maybe he purchased the specs before the War dawned perhaps? (As if I have his billing dates).

It's funny how people are always on the pursue of falsification of any known information that is shared. I merely shared a piece of common knowledge that I came across which "I" believe it to be true. Take it or leave it with a pinch of salt. No one is forcing anyone. **Sigh** You do you. Where exactly did you get any of this from? The dev never mentioned any of these things on his discord, patreon or subscribestar.

In fact, these are the last messages he posted on discord. He literally laughed at the idea that people are worried that the war affected him.

Which proves the mobilization isn't the cause of it.
The dev disappeared half a year before the mobilization and disappeared for weeks or even months at a time and constantly delayed his updates way before the war even started.

To add on that, the dev himself never claimed the war affected him.

Some people here just create fantasy scenarios that justifies the dev going silent.

I have it from very reliable sources high up in the Ukrainian govt that this game was a russian disinformation to comprimise western intelligence agencies. The dev in question is currently working on the true bond project in gulag Siberia.

I never said I'm mad, I explained pretty clearly the war is likely not the cause of the dev's disappearance.

In fact, I predicted the dev will abandon this game over a year ago, before the war even started. You can see my post here:

So instead of addressing why the update is taking so long or why he stopped updating the progress tracker, he just whines about how bad the criticism makes him feel?

People would be a lot more understanding if he just explained his position. Even something like "I had to spend time with my family for the holidays and couldn't get any work done, expect an update around January" would've been better than complete silence followed by "u haterzzz :<".

Anyway, I think this is pretty much confirmation that this game will never be completed.
