Sorry to ask here since it's off-topic, but I can't DM so I have to ask, what's the game in your signature? It doesn't look to be True Facials as I can't find the character or map in the latest version, not to mention the guy's dick looks different.
It's called Fallen Doll: Operation Lovecraft

For those having issues, deleting one of the Y'sthola mod files seems to have fixed it for me. For some reason, there's two of them in the folder, and one of the two is corrupted.

There is such a thing as zero-day exploits. The moderators and admins here are not cyber security experts. Three times now I've gotten my computer infected from downloads here. Granted, that is twice out of probably 40-50 games downloaded and played. The games that nailed me? It starts off with a "false" positive of 13 detections out of 67. Then it creeps up to 35 or so detections after a month or two. I understand some cracks have to exhibit malware behavior to work, such as memory editing something as the game runs, but at the same time... I've also seen such laughably bad attempts to hide shit in RPG maker games where it was possible to just run the game.exe through 7zip to unpack it and bingo, crypto miner and some other bullshit tacked on.

There's nothing wrong with talking about virus total alerts here, and this is why the moderators put a "use your best judgement" tag on things like this. If you want to be the first person to run up the beach and get mowed down by malware, we salute you, but I think I'll just wait a month and see if anyone actually reports that they ran it anyway and got a ransomware or something.
The red flags from this game stems from Henry adding a locale emulator (NTLEAS, applocale).
One of the new releases would CTD, or have major bugs for anyone who doesn't have Japanese locality on their PC.
Japanese code can't be read by an English speaking computer.

So, instead of teaching everyone how to run non-English code on their computers, we get an emulator built in.
An emulator that is well known for creating false-positive malware / virus hits.
Wish Henry had done this a different way, but here we are.

Btw, the game on OP has been here since late 2021 with the exception of new character 'mods'.
There is no known malware.

I've downloaded so many things from here and none of it was infected.
Only a few had to be cracked, most here don't even need a crack.
You are either extremely unlucky or dumb enough to download setup.exe from an ad found in a download link.
Either way you can escape from viruses by installing a good antivirus and an adblocker.

Windows vanilla antivirus is the best one on the market right now because they pumped millions into it.
That and netsec awareness will get you past every virus. Phishing sites is what you've got to be careful about as it's inevitable that you'll fall for one, one way or another.

This is how the next Illusion game's sex scenes and Studio should be like. More freedom and AI that recognises that pp is in vv.
Amen. Character customization + TF levels of freedom with sex scenes? Would buy for sure. Illusion seems to be stuck with repetitive (and vanilla) sex scenes with their games recently.

I assure you, I didn't miss click an ad. I've got µblock origins, NoScript and PiHole running. I also don't trust that the average user would even know if they got hit. Then there are people that get hit, but nothing happens, because the server the script is calling home to is no longer reachable. There has been a few instances of RPG extractor, Ren'py extractor, applocal, and Nguyen OCR getting packed in or shared around on F95, and they're modified versions. The good and the virused applocal both trip virus scanners, so it's hard to tell which is which until you run the program and see something pop up in glasswire that shouldn't be there.

I'm not saying THIS specific file is bad. I was, if you recall, replying to a user who'd said you shouldn't be on F95 if you don't implicitly trust every user, and every first page download.

I found that to be a wrongheaded statement.

The person I was replying to basically said that users should implicitly trust that every file offered here as safe. I was just challenging that as a wrongheaded statements. The mods and admins don't say that, so I'm not sure why he felt the need to be so militant.

Completely unrelated to the topic, but I feel the need to point out and thank you for your conversational etiquette. Ignoring the ad hominem, not taking the bait and arguing rationally.
What a rare find on these forums. I wish this was the general level of discussion here.
Thank you!

Now back to witnessing new user X jumping straight to the last thread page without reading anything else and shouting into the void that they want their favorite Overwatch character added.

What bait and what ad hominem? I've seen people trying to play games without even extracting them from archive then complain why x feature of the game is not working. I've seen people actually download setup.exe from an ad. I've seen people don't know how to drag&drop a folder. So excuse me if I assumed a person(who's arguing about viruses) is either unlucky or dumb. Idk why out of no where you decided to make me the bad guy here but if you want that I can make your dream come true ;)

How many millions they pumped to it doesn't matter. Look at internet explorer. After being a meme for so long they finally dumped it and created edge.
There's also the fact that windows defender couldn't detect a virus norton(which is also shit imo) was able to detect a few years ago, I've personally tested it myself. I don't know if they improved it over the years but I doubt it is any different.

ALSO, I WANT RAIDEN FROM METAL GEAR RISING. I'M GONNA MAKE SOME MEME'S.
