i play it too and i my system can reach 64 fps in ultra performance

in normal performance i got 40 fps .. in quality or native, i get a slideshow

when i startet the 0.57 version i get 54 fps in ultra performance.


but my cpu is always at 94% and gpu 45%


so.. my only change is that i got 10 fps more then before

maybe someone want to know it

extract it where you want. (the file is clean, I'm using it since July)
run it with the following configuration:


Create a shortcut to TrueFacials.exe, right click on it and select properties add in the target tab the following line after the game address:

-force -screen-fullscreen 0 -screen-height 720 -screen-width 1280
(there must be a space between Truefacials.exe and the line above, so: ...acials.exe -force...)

click apply and start the game with that link. The game will start windowed.
set the game to Native AA
(you should have the framerate around 30+ but the cpu at 50% and the gpu around 90%, if the gpu is still below 90% raise the resolution in the link you created try 831*1477 or 1632*918 also try to stay above 32fps). ((if the cpu is still high and the gpu is below 90% try 635*1130, but shouldn't be the case))

Never resize the window or it'll go back to your screen native res.

Now go back to LosslessScaling you opened before and click the Scale button on top right.
A countdown will start, just click on the game within 5 secs. to bring it on top and wait for it to go fullscreen.

What you did was just apply a better FSR (3.5) than the one in game (2) and framegen 2x with only a 10% weight on your cpu instead of the 50% of the game's one.
To exit: Alt+Tab than Unscale, or just close the game.
If everything went right, you can now play at the same framerate but much better quality (and if your cpu is quite can even try higer framegen up to 4x).
My suggestion is to set the framerate at the minimum possible with fluid gameplay: 32to45 and let the computer chill.

this is great for those having major fps issues with this, i use it myself sometimes, but for this game i feel i dont need it yet.. i hope they keep to optimize it more and include framegen in the game too.. anyways,, good tips!

Minor pet peeve:
I know it's lore accurate and shit, but Tifa's hair is way too fucking long. If you're trying to hit it from behind, the hair just covers the entire back up to the hole. It's even worse if you're making her ride dick, it covers everything looking from the back.

I try not to forget where I came from
I don't use it either (yet) with my new rig, but I was testing it again while writing and it still astonishes me.
If in next version they add Fsr4 and a newer dlss support, it'll become a milestone in programming and a lifeboat for the years to come.

Fun fact: all the reviewers and influencers comparing the latest products, should add to the test a 5 year old machine with L.S. before they talk about prices...

maybe is my laptop to old .. i dont know.. i have a i7 11800h with 2,3 ghz and a grafic card rtx 3060 with 6 gb
my ram should be enough with 64 gb.. i guess

dont know.. actually games like Silent hill 2 or Dynastie warriors Origins work still good. not in 4 k but in 1080p..
and my laptop is not so loud when i play these games .

IMPORTANT: the vast majority of my stories were created with the 0.56 version of the game and they don't work with the newst versions. You can find the 0.56ver on my GoFile page too!
I organised all my 0.56 stories inside a single folder to be downloaded, reuploading half of them each time was too demanding.

I tought much worse by what you said... but your problem is the cpu.
Just set the resolution in the link to 1632*918 and run the game in Native AA.

You should be around 38-40fps with graphics at 1080 quality.
Now you can use just the frame generator in Lossless Scaling at 2x or 3x, you don't need the upscaler (unless you have a 1440p monitor).
Drop the game framerate to 35, you should be good.

I Forgot! if you don't use the upscaler, set : -fullscren 1 in the link and navigate the different programs trough ALT+TAB

[remember not to use the ingame FSR, it'll cap your cpu and drop your gpu output]
*if you want to do something good in general, download DLSS Swapper, change the dlss in game with the latest version and activate preset K (idk if it's worth something for true facials, but it is for all the other games so...)

Yeah I've always had issues w/ Tifa's hair in TF. One thing you can do is use the Tifa Lifeguard model, but apply the normal Tifa outfit to it. The head/hat/hair is tied to the model, not the outfit and the Lifeguard one has an option with the hat off and a ponytail. Easier to deal with than Tifa's normal hair.

I went a little crazy and fixed it, did everything I wanted to, because I don't have enough time for it in the next two weeks.

Ugh. It wasn't easy, and not as fast as I wanted, but I did a "Xmas version" of my story. Where to look, I think you know.

I had to re-do almost all the scenes/poses, add new phrases, dig through, and fix the code. I spent the whole weekend doing it.

Make sure you downloaded the characters/maps for the correct version, only thing I can think of that would cause that problem would be using files from the wrong version. You only want the "Win" and "Mods" downloads from the main post, the "Character Mods (June v0.56)" and "Yennefer" downloads are not necessary and aren't for v0.59 anyway
