I have no dog in this fight, but I did read some of the talk in here.
My brother in Christ, make the game you want to make. We all have things and routes we'd like to see in a game, but right now the poor dev is like a kite getting pulled every which way in a storm. Start with the basics, whatever 2 routes evoke your vision the strongest. Dom/sub or hardcore/vanilla, whatever. Get your work flow down, expand on the story and the characters and either finish them or at least get to a place where you are happy with what you've done.
THEN start adding routes and subroutes that branch off the main path. You will have some experience under your belt and more understanding on how to pull everything off. Trying to do everything in one go will lead to more cooks in the kitchen, more arguments and less game. Don't burn out, I'd actually like to see games being finished.
