Cougars are older women who go after younger men. It's never been used just for older women. MILF was never really a literal term, either. It was usually used for shapely women in their 30s - 40s. Not a ton of women in that age range that aren't mothers, though. Like, you wouldn't call a 30-year-old mother that's stick-thin a milf, even if you wanted to fuck her.

Yeah. It is a literal term: Mothers I'd Like to Fuck.

LITERALLY the term.

Almost as if that's why you have the porn cat's MILF and , le gasp, MATURE, Curvy.... And if most women in their 30's were mothers' we wouldn't have a crashing birth rate. Just because you know a lot of 304's doesn't mean everyone has 5 kids with 4 baby daddies.

It being used for actual mothers was popularized by "American Pie" but the term has been around for much longer than that among college guys. Back then it was used for ANY hot girl, the same as "hot moma" or "mamacita". It had nothing to do with age or motherhood. I still remember my gramps laughing his ass off when we watched American Pie in the cinema, saying that's a term he hadn't heard since his college days.

Well to be fair, he edited his mod post here 2 months ago so fingers crossed, he obviously is still about in some capacity.
