VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Turning the Page [v1.0.0] [Azienda]

Pretty good scenes. I’m happy I can still rely on NTR to deliver on corruption content.
The plot is pretty basic, nothing special. It’s essentially a blackmail route pretending it isn’t, with a very generic FMC. The NTR guy is also extremely basic: the "irresistible jock" archetype.
The story itself is above average, but there’s way too much unnecessary text. Even skipping on max speed just to jump through the choices for new routes took forever. I appreciate that they tried to introduce internal conflict, but it feels undercooked and shallow, more like the illusion of it. The conflict could’ve been developed much better; there’s a lot of wasted potential, especially in the horrid second half, where there's genuinely no point in reading anything. It’s literally just the FMC being horny 24/7 like an unhinged person.

Like, holy shit, shut up. I genuinely started getting annoyed by how cringe it became. It felt like I was reading one of those low-tier "dark romance" novels for women.
We also need to start shaming devs for this penis-size bs. One guy has a literal foot-long bazooka, the other has a 2 cm peen, like, relax.
I think I liked The Blank Page endings the most. There’s a bit more drama there, with both characters kinda suffering - which me likes a lot of some juicy tragedy. Overall, as I said, the scenes-especially toward the end-are pretty good. As for the story, I'd recommend skipping almost everything except maybe half of the first part to get the gist. After that, you can safely jump from scene to scene without losing much.

I loved it.. It's one of the best NTR games I have ever played.. But maybe it talks too much, could be less in conversations and might get the point across, but overall it's awesome I can't wait for more games like that .. keep it up you guys are awesome

NOTE: I only played the corruption route.

The set up it much better than most games like this, but the corruption just runs out of steam. At some point, the game fails to make her complicit she's just slowly coerced though incessant nagging by the guy and low level blackmail. Also, the Amy character is obnoxious and she could have play into the scenario a lot more subtly. FMC kind of just starts agreeing to stuff at some point that seem totally out of character ("sure, play with my ass, but I still don't want to touch you.")

I'm giving it a 4/5 because, despite this, it is very above average for the corruption genre, where blackmail and humiliation predominate, but it was disappointing to see it gradually lose direction as it continued.

TLDR: A less blackmail/coercion focused corruption games with some desire in the mix.

If there's anything to be said, this game accomplishes what it sets out to achieve. I have recently picked this game up and was quite astonished by the quality of the game, from the story to its characters. I'll be listing down various key points that made a strong impression for me in this game.

THINGS I LIKED:

1.) Narrative structure and pacing
When it comes to NTR as a genre, it is not surprising for it to be either a hit or miss, especially when it comes down to the corruption and fall of the main heroine as well as the decisions that the male protagonist has made for himself throughout the course of the story.

With that said, the game is competent enough to give a sensible and coherent approach to its plot and pacing as well as the endings (I'll get to this in a minute). Now I would say the plot itself does not stand out but it makes up for it by developing the scenario and characters that are involved in the story especially with the POV you have selected and the ending you have set out to undertake.

2.) POV and Endings
Speaking of endings, before you start the game you are given the choice to pick either Felix and Sophie. I'll highlight the only key parts which would be the following: Characters & Ending Variations.

A.) Felix POV:
Man, oh man where do I start with this. I do wish that Felix wasn't such a jobber but of course he has to, to fit the narrative of the NTR trope . For most parts of the story Felix, what stood out to me the most was his sense of inferiority complex and lack of motivation to get his shit together. His decisions and thoughts reflected it through his actions in the course of the story. Although it is truly tragic what happened to his relationship as a whole, All these things that Felix had done made a significant contribution to drastic changes with his partner and the people around him.

As for endings, I really love the "Alone" and the "A Blank Page" ending. These 2 endings highlight the worst and the best of Felix life.

For the first ending I mentioned, Felix is just living aimlessly pretending to not care about the life of the partner that cheated on him. He is filled with hatred, anguish and malice for the pain they have done to him but he knows deep inside that he still loves her (as evidenced by the ring). This was one of the few endings that made me genuinely empathized because it feels so grounded and raw. The emotions the Felix showed, him not being able to move on hits hard. What made this segment even better is how Amy shows up and offer Felix some sort of advice and closure to atone for the sins that she committed. She acknowledges the horrible shit she has done, she feels the gnawing guilt of it and she knows it. But with everything said and done, one must move on with there lives and rebuild for the better as one should but for Felix he's stuck in the past. With every passing day he is reminded of that things that could be. Now this doesn't absolve Amy for the horrific shit she has done but everyone has to start off somewhere.

For the latter ending, this puts Felix in a better position than the first one i mentioned. Yes, it doesn't get any better but at least he is trying to make something of his life even though everything has gone to shit. Even though his wife just fucked all, he still got his friends and colleague to help him be in a better state. Now it's up to him how he would carve his life from thereon.

B.) Sophie POV:
And here we are into the second part of the POV which would be Sophie's character. She was a really interesting character at the initial parts of the story and her slow downfall reflected that. However as the story progressed she just became turboslut and her prim and smart persona just disappeared afterwards with little transition. She is indeed made to be a broken, selfish and depraved slut at the end of the story but I do wished that the transition was a little bit smoother.

As for the endings, only one ending really mattered which would be the "Better Life" ending. The ending mirrors that of Felix's but with more added info. It's refreshing to see an ending where the heroine actually gets a happy life instead of being mindbroken that most NTR games usually do.

3.) Art and Animation
Art has taken significant improvement from his previous works. Although the art has indeed gone better the consistency is another issue with this one. It is quite unavoidable for some inconsistency to happen but at least the developer found his/her unique art direction to deliver erotic scenes that deliver pleasure to the viewers.

THINGS THAT I DISLIKED:

1.) Long and drawned-out dialogues
Now that I know this game was meant to be enjoyed at one's own pace and shouldn't be rushed to do so but there's some point in the story where one just loses there attention, and I think that is one of the most important part's when you want the viewer to be engaged with the story. The pay off the story is good but the verbose writing of the story make it difficult to follow the story at times.

2.) Impact of choices to the narrative of the story
Choices should make noteworthy shift to the characters actions and decisions. Most of the time, the choices doesn't offer anything more unique that is relevant to the growth of the characters and progression to the story.

Overall, the game is not insane or a super-duper masterpiece but it performs what it needs to do. Might change my ratings and opinion on this one after re-reading some of the context or perspectives I might have missed in the future.

Headcanon: The story and the characters' behavior make much more sense if you imagine the setting to be a high-school, but that's kind of super illegal. And I'm actually happy to see game protagonists in their 30s and beyond, so I'm not about to complain.

"Bweeeeh Sophie is a bad person," Yes. Yes she is. The plot requires that she's not just a hapless victim, but a deeply selfish, broken individual. However, the story has several plot holes that really substract from it. Zack (and Brooks) are exactly as evil as each route requires, which is weird because most of the endings are branched way too late in terms of characterization. Ending 2 feels like canon by virtue of being the most fleshed out; by contrast Ending 3 feels like a 'what if' and 4-6 are too rushed.

That said, let me sing Ending 2's praises for a second. It is GREAT. It pissed off so many people. I read the novel a second time without skips to reach that climax. What a journey. Long as fuck? A cheating slice of life until everything finally crashes down in the last minute? Yes, yes. But holy shit. Holy shit.

I hope the choices are improved in FUNS, because in this one they are few, too late to influence the story organically and don't feel that relevant overall. If you go through Felix's Chart, he basically makes the same choice (Check Drive/Don't Check) FOUR times during his POV. That's bad planning.

And Sophie, oh poor Sophie. Poor Sophie with her chronic Kronk Speech Syndrome. The Sophie who repeats the same observation in short sentences three times in a row, with each corresponding click. Sophie's obsession with repetition as emphasis. That Sophie.

Those two are my main gripes with TTP, but the rest is honestly great. This truly feels like the work that cements the developers' style. A transitional period. There are experiments that hit and miss, an evolving artstyle and animation techniques. I have mixed feelings about recommending this novel because:

Pro: The scenes hit 10x times harder if you read the 5 million words that set them up beforehand.

Con: That's a fuck ton of words and people have things to do and places to go, you know.

It's not bad, certainly not as bad as people have bitched about in the thread. Give it a try if you have a lot of time and love the setting, but if NTR is a passing kink there are other, more condensed stories that scratch the itch just fine.

The game is fine, but not great. Everything is just about average or a little above that - the art, story, characters, anything.
The game is supposed to be a corruption NTR story and it is, but everything is very mild - there are plenty of japanese and a few western games that do that better, harder and more immersive.
To be honest, I don't know what else to say about. Nothing really stands out, and the game is passable. You probably will not be hugely disappointed by playing it, but at the same you will not lose much by not playing it at all.

I would give it 3.5 stars if it were possible, but since it is not, but the game is completed (which is rare), and it didn't take the developer a decade to do so, I will give it a 4-star rating as some sort of encouragement.

This is the first time I've actually decided to write a review. This is, for me at least, one of the best VNs I've played.

Like most, I sped my way through the first run. I do enjoy the art a lot, especially as a bi guy.

This game does something I wish more games would do--include the text from the scene in the gallery. The writing is really good. I never thought I'd say that, but the descriptions from Sophie are just great.

Lots of CGs and story options. I think the dialog was too wordy though but maybe that's with all VNs. It's only getting 4 stars because Out Red String isn't a full 5 cause it has its own issues but it is a better game imho.

This is a good slow-burn NTR game. Well, it's slow-burn from the husband's perspective, at least.

The buildup is not even linear, going up and down along the way, which is crucial to deliver what NTR is really about.
It gets you invested in the story first, and only then it does (relatively slow) take all the gains out of it. If you actually care about what is going on, the investment is well justified.

Fortunately, the game is able to prove its goodness both in the CG and the story departments, as both are very well suited to each other.

The MC's POV is not designed for a quick fap, especially when it has only a few CGs in it and relies on the player's imagination. It's a rather long uphill journey that's catering to "slow-burn NTR" fans by offering a consistent storyline of a great quality.
The FMC POV does rather speed things up, if only by a tad. You get the scenes right along the way. The corruption is gradual until a certain point she finally snaps, after which it pivots to another direction with her, again gradually, destroying everything she ever felt for the MC. Man, that was brutal.

The game is wholesome in a sense that it focuses only on what is important for the core meaning of Netorare (Type B) (i.e. the most significant other gets corrupted by someone you might think could be better than you in the sex department), and is doing only just that, instead of trying to cater to a wider audience with a lot of different fetishes (I am truly sorry, but you have to know how hard to find a crowdsourced game that matches everything you like and does not have any extra you might not like).

It's not a cheap fap or a mediocre NTR game. The premise might be arguably generic for NTR, of course.

If you're here for a quick fap then just skip it and view the scenes by unlocking the gallery. For all others -- it might be a gem you've been looking for.

I found myself gooning for a week of unsuccessfully trying some other NTR games out there. They just didn't click it for me. I know there should be at least someone that could share this feeling: when there is nothing new decent coming up, and you've been searching the NTR stockpile for quite a while. I then thought giving this game a chance, since it had been on my radar for a long time already. Good Lord, I was not mistaken.

This game offers a blend of captivating storytelling (to some it might seem to be a drag, but for others it actually delivers "the it") and the artwork (the female is beautiful and valuable, the bull's appearance is convincing).

From all the western-like NTR games out there, I think, it could be comparable to Hangover Cat's "A Promise Best Left Unkept". But Azienda has already established itself by a couple of titles already -- this item surely holds the bar, if not setting it higher up.

I really enjoyed playing this game, being a fan of "Hidden NTR", i had a lot of scenes thats fit my tastes. Liked the corruption, usage of phonecalls, and few other elements. Game was really nice, i recommend for people who are into NTR.

Excellent NTR game, and contrary to most games on this site it's actually complete so a massive +. Male perspective is decent could have better hidden NTR. Female perspective is the main spotlight with an NTR Antagonist growing on the FMC slowly instead of the standard mind-control or blackmail bs. Game is on the wordy side though and tends to drag on at times. Can argue that this game is a 3 or 4 star but I think it deserves 5 for being complete and one of the better western NTR games.

It's a game with different prospectives from different characters. I enjoyed the mystery elements because that makes things interesting. However, the game is on the wordy side. And scenes are very rare and they are really just one picture with minimum animation. It will be nice if the game could be more visual.

Generic NTR game that's REALLY long with an INSANE amount of dialogue. It's not bad, but once the corruption happens the wife instantly changes. It's day and night. Jarring, but the game did have great dialogue at some points.

So, let's get the easiest part out of the way:

Visually, the game's great. The art style's pretty good and there are some very good animations (especially in the end portions) that make it worthwhile alone. The character design isn't anything out of the ordinary, but at least they try to give each one a distinct appearance.

Now, on to the story.

It's your average NTR slop. It's a lot more careful, long and slow that most other games in this category. Even the Sophia side of things, which has a lot more direct action, is still filled with a lot of dialogue and in between scenes.

While I appreciate that this game doesn't rely on the cheap drug/mind control stuff some NTR games have or that it doesn't deal with straight sexual assault, it's NTR. That means you need to suspend your disbelief waaaay up high to ignore some of the stupidest aspects of it (mainly, the whole 'he fucks so good, it's worth it to ruin my perfectly decent life for it' shtick).

To be fair, the only thing that really weighs it down in my opinion is that it has pretty much no choice factor. There aren't really many decisions you can take and, while important in some cases, it's still just a reel of CGs and dialogue in the end. But it has a little bit for everybody:

• If you like slow burn cheating stories, play the game and read everything. Characterization is pretty good and you'll get some decent emotions out of it.
• If you like jerking, unlock the galleries and go straight to the naughty bits, they're really well done.

One of the best slow burn NTR games out there at the moment. The game is very long now it is finished but I have been following month by month for a couple years now and there is always something to keep you engaged

Was awesome! Like really nice ! Even of my best game ever ! AND ...... at the middle at the development once the female characters sophie became a slut it turned out to be so boring like really boring. Disappointed.

This visual novel is top-notch, featuring a variety of engaging paths. The storylines are immersive and well-crafted, keeping you hooked from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. A must-play for fans of the genre!

I've enjoyed this developer's previous games, but this time, it feels like they went overboard. The text is far too verbose, dragging out conversations and narrtion that should be snappy and engaging. Scenes repeat the same ideas multiple times, making it feel like the story is padding itself out unnecessarily.

There are some good aspects—the production quality is solid, and the characters have potential, but if I wanted to read a book, I’d pick up a novel, not an adult visual novel. The balance is off; instead of focusing on what makes an adult game enjoyable, it gets lost in excessive text.

At the end of the day, this is supposed to be a hentai/porn game, and that should be the priority. When it takes so long to get to the actual content that you’re struggling to stay awake, something has gone wrong.

I almost didn't play this due to the reviews here and I'd have missed one of the few gems hidden in the vast sea of poorly written harem games that is F95Zone.

This is a classic NTR game like many of of its Japanese predecessors. What sets it apart though is the writing. The Dev goes beyond the brain dead tropes of the genre filled with stupid women, push over protagonists and whimsical reasons for the cheating and/or betrayal.

The FP is smart and much of the game is about her inner battle with what she is about to do. The antagonist is not stereotypical either and their "journey" is entirely believable within the premise of the story.

That alone makes it better than almost every NTR game here. Naturally this is also the source of much information f the criticism. It is wordy and there is much set up in between scenes. A lot of work goes into giving the characters depth.

It is intentional and if you like that depth, you are in for a treat. What it isn't, is a bare bones porn story with sex scenes. You can still get all that from the gallery, but to be honest you'd miss the best part of the game.

I love the characters, I love how they surprise you and I love how the feel for and with each other. It is really really well done.

In what it sets out to be, it succeeds spectacularly and it makes this game one of a kind. Well done. And thank you for making it
