Regretting what you are doing and yet keep doing it is well within human behavior patterns.
The guilt acts as a stopping force so Sophie doesn't just agree to whatever Zack wants. Also she is progressing nicely and her regrets now are much weaker than they were.

I think the reason she is still feeling guilt is because of the conflict between her desires and her emotions. Zack has conquered her body by giving her sex that she has never experienced before, but he has yet to conquer her heart. So, once Zack is done 'scratching her itch' and her desires are satisfied, all Sophie is left with is her love for Felix and the guilt her compulsive actions cause her.
I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see even more of this from her in the future. At least until Zack starts to win her over emotionally.
The difference is that she is literally bipolar, in the span of literally 5 seconds she goes from saying I am an evil woman and then wanting to go meet Zack.
Think of it as addiction, she basically addicted to sex with Zack so one second she may be hating herself but next she just wants her fix.
Sadly I think Azienda is so focused on creating slow-burn corruption story that they forgot about anything else. The last few updates can be summed up as +X% corruption for Sophie and 3 - 4 sex scenes of various quality.
It would make Sophie much more believable and interesting if she accepted the situation and tried to deal with it or tried to find a justification for it. She just completely dismisses it like a little child or someone with a severe personality disorder.
Zach gets benefit of the doubt because he’s the omnipotent jock shrouded in mystery but his actions don’t make much sense either. It shouldn’t take him this long to corrupt a woman if he’s so godly. Does he enjoy playing a pathetic romantic?
I'm honestly suspicious of Zach's motives, been for a while, but in this last update I kinda felt like he was love-bombing Sophie, which is a common tactic that manipulative people do.
I don't necessarily hope the story ends with all around misery for all, but I'm very curious to see how it proceeds if it doesn't go in that direction.
Yeah my feelings exactly, she has just been feigning ignorance for the past like 5 updates instead of trying to sort her feelings out and just like the first break that was in the game where the last scene before the break was the long awaited sex scene, before spring break they will have the creampie scene, Im feeling a little disappointed in this game now. Its just the same shit over and over, Felix never finds anything out because despite being clever he is written to be a dumbass and Sophie has 0 character development but it is just a H game at the end of the day.
I totally disagree with you guys. I feel like there are significant changes in each update regarding Sophie's feelings. I haven't played the latest update yet, but in the one before that, her increased flippancy, and lack of respect towards Felix was notable.

I agree with this though. I don't know why people have to go crazy with cock and breast sizes in drawn porn. In some games the people end up looking like they have serious medical problems, or are just totally inhuman. Interesting to read how some people criticize the best points of this game. Sophie's internal conflict and slow corruption are what differentiates this type of netorare story from almost all games, even alleged corruption ones, where the woman goes from being a faithful wife to a cock-loving slut in two scenes.
I haven't read such sweet and slow corruption in a long time, and for me it is the real selling point of TtP. We all know that Sophie will become like that towards the end anyway, so there's no need to reach that point quickly, I hope the game continues like this. Watching Sophie slowly change is a treat.

In terms of this genre this game is definitely one of the best out there I am not denying that but unlike other games Sophie is not supposed to be stupid, she is supposed to love felix, felix seemingly doesnt really have many cons considering she still liked having sex with him and there is no blackmail or any reason for her to be with Zack.
I get the sentiment but I think no reason to be with Zack is a bit far.
I'm sure we're all fine upstanding citizens who have iron wills but what if the most attractive person you've ever met started to pay attention to you. If fact, not just paid attention but was all out trying to seduce you while showing you a life you never even really knew existed. This person turned down others and seemingly devoted their existence to making you happy and more than that, building you up in what you considered to be a weakness. Plus, every time they get to touch you, which was a treat for them they insist, they blow your mind in ways no one else ever has.
Sophie isn't morally right, and I play the early ending on occasion for the dopamine hit, but there are a passel of reasons why she's attracted to Zack, and understandable why she's falling (already fallen?) for him as a result.
But in the beginning Sophie never thirsted for Zack's looks, and Zack is also a playboy, she sees him fuck other girls multiple times, and its also not like Zack particularly likes her personality but he is more obsessed with the fact that she does not thirst for him like most other girls, it is his main attraction to her.

Those are all assumptions though. We don't have Zack's pov so we don't know anything about him and his movitations. In addition, Sophie is an unreliable narrator so her thoughts should be taken with a grain of salt.
The fact she talks about him and his looks as often as she does in the way she does shows she is impressed by it. If you aren't impressed by something or if something doesn't matter to you it's literally unremarkable. You don't remark on it at all. I think she recognizes the temptation she's feeling and tries to talk herself out of it.
I also found it interesting that when she thinks about the way Amy is dressed or acts she frames it mostly as Felix wouldn't like this and Felix would object rather than what she thinks about it. It shows a couple of things, one is she is compliant and subservient (opinion wise) to her "man" and she, if she were on her own, thinks of things differently than Felix does.
I also think Zack has 3 motivations.
1) Fuck Felix over for 'standing up to him' on that first day.
2) Sophie is hot as hell.
3) Possible Mommy issues, we'll see though.
This is all dime store psychology so I recognize I could be wrong.
Anyone else think the sex scene's music should have more energy? Maybe something more energetic but also evil in a way.
i dont like the ominous music so ive actually started two instances of the game and muted the main one and for the other one i played one of the earlier sex scenes where the music was more upbeat and lustful hahahhh

The first two games from Azienda had creepier music during sex. I guess it's also one of their trademarks, a way to enhance the feeling of immorality and how the evil villain is corrupting the pure heroine.
