Well, daughters, mothers, and sisters tend to look alike but not to much.
I'll give you credit for not just giving the female characters weird hair colors and calling it a different character.
I used different models with completely different faces and had to mix a bit of the 'Mother' into them.

Even though you can change the relationship it still needs a patch. He be calling Katherine her name instead of Mom.

Only way i kind of fixed it was literally change her name to Mother. I guess in dialogues you need the correct tag.
What kind of game is it? Romance only or is there a corruption option? Do we need to play as a nice guy?

Sandbox =/= grinding. Sandbox means you'll get a map and you choose where to go and which event to do first. Nothing to do with grinding just because some devs implement grinding for relationship points that way.I don't get it what's the point making it , if u hate it?

That is the answer though. He hates grinding. The game will be sandbox. Just because it's sandbox doesn't mean it will have grinding.
Therefore the dev is making a sandbox game without grinding. At least from what he's saying.
