And bellow all of that what he said he says "and much more" so yea ....but for me even a map and day night cycle ...is waste of time i don't mind to have choices and stuff ,normal novel ...style is the best !!
The developer surprised by giving players the opportunity to play a loser, this is of course a unique experiment, in my case such a main microbe is clearly not for me

I'm curious about that 4th review picture, what's with the old man? Especially since one of the girls is naked there. I get bad vibes from that picture. I know the dev said NO NTR which is awesome since i hate NTR but still...

Actually there was this dev that did Vn novel style and he completed it in 6 chapters cuz there wasn't much support ,and than for the next one he made it as a game(different novel not the same )and his support skyrocketed from there he has like above 1000 paid members now for a two years of development on that game , it's a harem. The game name is Shattered minds i don't like it but that's just one example that his switch paid off , don't let anyone change your mind of course i don't like sandbox ,but that doesn't mean you don't u can try it ..cuz kinetic novels they don't bring much tooo.....check that game out u'll see what i am talking about ....good luck !!!

Going by how the harem games usually do it, you don't really need to make it a kinetic novel -- it's common for these games to offer "choices" which are basically "play this scene or skip it (or some bits of it)" with no actual impact on the plot which is very much linear and doesn't have multiple endings to speak of. Which is not surprising, given harem games have explicit goal of "gotta catch them all".
At the same time, allowing the player to skip scenes with some particular fetishes they might not be into is likely to be welcome, while not adding any real development time per se, compared to kinetic novel which forces the scene on the player whether they like it or not.
