I think the dev is from south america so there is still some time for him to release the updateI was hoping for a new year's surprise
. Either way it wouldn't be the full update, from what he said on his last dev log he would release part of the update this month and the rest in january. At this point I think I would rather wait for the full update.

If he hasn't released it yet it's because it is not ready yet. It's better to wait a little bit more and get a bugfree experience.
We're all waiting for the first release with the new models. Whenever the next release is it will have them.
