After following previous incarnations of the game for long enough, I think I can explain what's going on. What you're expecting is normal game where author has a realistic plan. Starts small, drives it to finish, gains experience. Then moves to next game that can be bigger and better. And so on. Not here, Greono aims at masterpiece at first try, the ultimate game that has something for everyone. Do you want straight, gay or something else? Characters that are big, small, pretty or let's say less pretty? Be a nice guy or complete asshole? Any combination you can imagine, Greono got you covered! Well, not yet, but that seems to be the plan..... You are trying to cover too many topics at the same time, hiding content left and right, to the point that nothing makes sense and there's really no plot at all. ...
Is it good plan? It depends. I'd certainly like to try finished game like that, with "infinite" possibilies, where I'll sooner reach my own limits than author's artificial ones. I believe that it could be amazing experience. But is it a realistic plan? Most likely not. We're only at v002 and it's already insane maze. It should have strong warning for completionists to not even try, because it could damage their mental health. And that will get worse, because remember, all we've seen so far is supposed to be only the very beginning, more like intro. With that in mind, current pace of development doesn't look optimistic either.
On the upside, what do we have to lose? Nothing. So let him try and wish him the best. Who knows, maybe ten years from now, we'll be pleasantly surprised. He has some good ideas. And as shown in the past, the game can attract quite a few supporters. So if he avoids the same mistakes, mainly the urge to redo everything yet again, when he gets some new and even better vision...
