As I live and breathe, I do not have a folder called USS on my PC. Yet the saves somehow boot.

Taking bets: what pre-existing and established systems do you reckon they will break this time?

"Hey guys. The update will be delayed for about 24 hours (48 hours max). I increased character creation limit from 5 to 20, it was a highly requested feature for a while now. It's been tested a lot, not just by me, and everything was working pretty good until i changed how rooms get saved/loaded because it wasn't efficient before. While final 'stress testing' today, i found a critical bug. There's a major conflict going on somewhere in there, because rooms are loading completely randomly which leads to crashes, it's basically a coin flip, and i have no fucking idea what the fuck is going on. I thought i fixed it a long time ago, but it's still there, something else is causing it, but it's directly tied to new character save slots, so i've been banging my fucking head against the wall trying to figure it out for 3 hours almost, and i just can't figure it out, i need to step away for a little. It's just counterproductive searching for a bug when you're this exhausted and about to fucking destroy your PC. Just need a few hours away from my computer, then i'll get back to it and hopefully fix it, if not, i'll have to decrease the limit back to 5, which would suck. I could release a buggy update, where stats don't update properly, progress is not being tracked right, etc, but i can't release something that crashes like this. I'm sorry about that. For future updates, i wont set an exact time unless i'm 100% sure everything is more or less working. Feel free to throw tomatoes at me, let it all out, i deserve it. Still getting this fucking update out tho. ✌"

I think it's mostly for the sissy mode. It becomes more sandbox now, which it will allow you from a single character be a sissy and/or a master/mistress. For example, you can be a dom sissy corrupting boys into sub sissies. But until then, we will need to wait for the developer to take their time and deliver us a good game.
Note: This is my estimation only. Not a validated thing.

This content space always has weird delays and abandoning projects. Someone should do a study on the character and mentality of these devs haha

The most people of porn games they begin with their kink and then they try to earn the living from it. This is usually counterproductive when they believe that they can make easy money from it and when they don't, they lose their interest and they abandon the project. In the specific game, the developer uses the pay model. Recent changes on platforms made his pay plans harder and they had to focus on real job to earn the living. This hinders the project and makes the developing slower and easy to miss deadlines. But they are still here. They will be for a short or a long time? This is something that we will learn sooner or later. For now, we only can have patience and hope that this project won't be one of the discarded pile.
Project management is actually really hard, especially for what are often one-man hobbies turned side hustle. The subscription model can be more of a detriment than a motivator if there's no real long term plan for content scalability or improvement. Leading to what you frequently see in devs gradually losing steam and just treating it as a milking operation until it dies completely while they take the "free money" to focus on other things in their life or fully embrace the scam aspect and restart under new aliases.
