I've tried this steps and all was fine (at least for PC version, quick skip till the game end):
1) UAGC RenPy compressor audio + video only, pack to rpa disabled.
2) Rename "..\game\images\Capitão" folder to "..\game\images\Capitao".
3) UAGC RenPy compressor images only, pack to rpa disabled.
4) Rename "..\game\images\Capitao" folder to "..\game\images\Capitão".
Possible step 5) is to create Mac version (not tested) with disabled audio/video/images/pack2rpa.

P.S. Not sure if this game worth efforts, anyway only one thing that possible I can implement for this game is auto renaming "Capitão" folder, u couldn't pack back to rpa with UAGC it (at least for PC version).

What's Different in Quality VP9 VS H264?
H264 can be implented for compressing videos in UAGC Renpy,RPGM MV?
Maybe in Future you can Add pause count function to RPGM VX ACE,When compressing 9k+ images it's actual ;).
Maybe in Future you applied in all variant cwebp,Where still pingo?
Maybe in Future you provide for Renpy Extreme audio compression?

Since there no mods for this game I think 1 time is OK. Btw I've recently saw WT mod where its devs said that it wouldn't work unleast u unpack rpa 1st. And from my experience I never had any problems with any mods with unpacked rpa so I'm pretty sure that it's OK in about 99% cases if rpa is unpacked. For me only one reason where packed to rpa is better that such game is much faster unpacks from 7z, rar, zip, etc. And also sometimes patches, updates comes in rpa so either unpack it 1st before installing or just don't unpack scripts.rpa before (but not always possible if game comes with 1 big archive.rpa).
And if it not hard for you answer please:

1) Already answered few days ago. h265~vp9, h264~vp8 comparing by quality at same settings. h264 I can recommend only in HTML/QSP games with tons (usually low quality/resolution) vids.
2) H264 support already implemented long time ago for mentioned by u engines. U maybe hidden it and forgot.
3) For what? To count how many images left to compress, right?
4) Didn't understand question at all. Cwebp~nconvert for now about 99% similarity by my tests at default settings (but cwebp can compress only to webp format). Pingo usually used where games don't supports webp images and for apng.
5) Already answered many times. For RenPy u literally can lower bitrate up to 8kb/s coz used OGG OPUS audio codec. Extreme compression is used for OGG Vorbis codec (coz not all games supports OPUS) to be able to lower bitrate below 45kb/s (to 30kb/s). I think ur problem is that sometimes audio don't wanna compress right or why u need such feature since its not related to it and even couldn't possible to be added for OPUS (and not needed anyway)?

4. But When i'm try compressing Wolfrpg,RPGM VX ACE i had overuse memory and Nconvert dead for me :(.
5 About u can lower bitrate for renpy,but in uagc still a lot of situation when audio can be compressed better.
And you answered a lot of asks but magic after sometime,What i'm asked solve with "that's not problem uagc or solved before".
For Stop using bas cruncher for post-compressing audio after uagc.

2. Actual For Mac Building in UAGC.
3. Actual For Better speed Unpacking.

1) Actually he didn't do anything new, just added in gui VAAPI that . I've already discussed about Intel QSV and same goes for VAAPI (actually it includes QSV for Intel GPU users and VCE for AMD CPU+GPU) that it's too difficult to test/implement since I'm sitting on NVIDIA GPU but thanks for info anyway.
2) It's just some library (dll) as far as I understood that needed to be implemented in some tools like nconvert or libvips if its even possible so too early to say anything about it.

Ah Maybe in Future Maestro Megalol search methods how compress unity
I'm quite sure that current Unity compressor in UAGC is maximum that could be done here for it after spending a lot of time on this case. Only advice is better use it on 2D games (like Mad Turn) since Unity 3D usually compresses fine just with 7zip/winrar. But since it's a kinda lossy repack with (re)injecting media there could be troubles for end users with installing (maybe antivirus problems). In current state its kinda experimental coz I didn't got enough feedback to fix possible problems. Unity is almost most possible problematic engine regarding compression coz there are about 3 types of textures and all are not common like dds which has tons of sub types like dxt(1-5) some with alpha channel some not, and etc. U can't just inject in Unity webp image so UAGC extracts it converts to webp, makes installer that converts it to dds back, for audio and video it's even more complicated. Also there are tons of different Unity versions that uses various types of archives: assets, bundle, res, resource, even files without any extension.

UAGC update v2.4.5 (install it on UAGC version 2.4.4)

For RPGM MV compressor added Android (apk files) support and m4a audio files compression too since its often used in apk.
For RPGM vx Ace compressor added show progress feature but if used with png2jpg will show not 100% actual info for png.

megalol can you take a look at this game, forgive my ignorance if I overlooked something or made a "rookie" mistake. By looking at it, I figured it was Electron, and UAGC detected as such. It went about compressing it, but when it was done, it said no files compressed, but completed successfully.

I decided to look at images shows as PNGs, but paint, xnview, etc. say they can't open and are not in fact png's.

Sure, np. This is Electron framework based game (which probably used in new version of VNmaker engine) for sure but with some encryption. For now I have no idea how to decrypt it so asked for help here.

Alright.

I just thought it was out of the ordinary from what I've experienced before, which isn't much since I stick to Ren'Py. I have done a few HTML games, QSP, RPGM, and Shale Hill Secrets, the last one I'm so happy about you added that.

Well, it's not a huge deal, but figured I'd at least ask and see if was me or something new :coffee:

If u speaking about audio - all fine for me. Audio folder before compression 400Mb after only 10Mb. For now I can only advice to place compressing games to "C:\games" folder (at least for testing period) as I almost always do. I think putting in user folders like "Downloads" can possibly lead to problems (at least in ur case). especially if there are non-latin letters in it. Since nobody mentioned such problem before and I can't reproduce it and I can't fix it coz too little info.

Hm, I think this path probably should be also fine but still better check my advice just in case. For me that is really could help to find and probably fix root or ur problem is to make a video of Audio folder when problem happens (at UAGC audio compress) coz I need to see on what stage compression fails for u: either at compression process (creating compressed files with .opus extension) or after it (renaming compressed from .opus to ogg, mp3, wav back and deleting original files).
