UAGC itself should be picked up by any decent AntiVir lol. Alone the injecters for some of the Games are enough for AntiVirs to freak out lol

I'm not sure they get picked up until the tool itself is run on some, I know a few will pick up (I don't remember specifically which tool it was) one or two after extraction.

Defender hasn't picked anything up for me (I only have Fallout 4 on my exclusion list in DUI), but I also haven't run every tool in the suite.

And only our all time fav Jiangmin flagged it LMAO

I checked the file its 100% clean and your know normal av tools got something that is called exclude from scan

Yeah I have 5 Antivirs and a VM set up to check for Virus' after all the shit that happen but myself using MB, it is just a bit annoying with blocking all the Piracy websites, I wonder why?

I'd tend to agree with MB on some of those sites, not all, but I can see some instances where they are a legit threat with some of the underlying ad's and what-not.

Yeah, it's just if you are a bit careful and know what to do then its not really a problem. And MB is annoying with allowing websites thats what sucks. xD

You have 5 antiviruses... You know most aniti-virus suites think Other anit-virus suite are Viruses right?

sigh... Anyways, it was that drag_n_drop executable getting quarentined. I'm guessing it's doing some sideways kernal calls to. We can't use Log4J anymore for the same reason.

I do not use the Antivirs at once.. Lol. its just for checking games. I have them on multiple instances on a VM to check games with multiple Antivirs, You don't know how many reports we get weekly

Well there is no virus. Its weird that only CrapAfee recognizes it, but I am not surprised tbh.
I scanned the compression and your original file with our own Renpy scanner and both get flagged btw. But after manually checking it I can ensure you both games are fine. What I can tell you is that the Compression is build with the official SDK 8.3.0, if you're really that worried please compare the files yourself Good for looking out. (Minus points for using McAffe though.)

While agree that McCafee is garbage, ya can't dismiss it. Just because so many god damn people use it... I have it as a secondary thing, but just becuase it flags something, it's gonna hit usage numbers for whatever got compressed.
I don't know if that makes sense to ya. Ironically, I think I'm advocating for more hackery. XP

Honestly its better to not advocate for McAfee, sadly using it just gives a false sense of security. While yes all antivirs do that at some kind cause nothing is 100% perfect. McAfee has a very bad track record.

Nothing gets stripped out. UAGC does what it says lol. Its a compressor. It reduces the Image, Audio, Video quality.
And from the size comparison I'd assume your original game uses PNGs (or a bad conversion of it), thats the reason why it saves so much.

What we do is rather simple and anybody can do it. megalol made it stupidly easy.
Unpack .rpas (if there are any). Compress Image, Audio, Video with set parameter (I'd assume Alice used the standart ones 80% image quality, 40 Audio bitrate and 39 "Special Video setting"). Repack .rpa. Rebuild the game with the SDK. Thats it.
All of the above is done automatically btw.

Yeah, it seems that compressing eyes in this game leads to it's misplacement so if put original selectoblige.pfs.000 that contains eyes makes game great again. I guess png contains some metadada with eyes coords so I need to keep metadata enable or if not works just skip eyes folder called "fg" in next UAGC update.

Probably just skip that one then Though it does save way more then I think it would. Cause it has 15k audio files.

It's strange coz at ur config u usually shouldn't need any speed limiting nor for ogg nor for images even if u have HDD instead of SSD. I guess it could be antivirus that slow downs processing or something other (security related too [?] that limits number of running/creating processes from some untrusted software) that interfere for normal processing. UAGC doesn't destroy processes (it can only be ur AV or OS I think) when speed limit set it just pauses processing for few secs when u use speed limit depending at settings.

I played around a bit with AV settings to no avail.
Funny enough, I only have this unresponsiveness with RenPy or RPGM games, not for example with HTML compression. There I can compress full-speed and the system is basically 100% responsive.

That probably means that ur AV or OS don't like especially cwebp.exe so maybe switching to nconvert would solve problem.

What do I do with png_ files? They are not in png format to be compressed.
