What do I do with png_ files? They are not in png format to be compressed.

U shouldn't do anything with it since UAGC do it for u when u using RPGM MV/MZ compressor. It's encrypted RPGM MZ file format where png headers are modified and file extensions renamed.

megalol this game below with UAGC gives a warning that there are no .rpa's to extract and with the message "game is probably protected by the developer".

The second game skips them all together with no warning and moves straight to building the game with the SDK automatically.

When I use UnRen-forall beforehand they extract fine and afterwards the game compresses fine. Builds back fine manually with the nightly SDK afterwards since it's a v8.3.3 xxxxxx nightly back to .rpa.

Maybe these 2 are one-offs? I've actually never come across this, at least on the Ren'Py side.

Since u usually manually (re)build (so it should create rpa again anyway in most cases) games with SDK after compression I advice for such games just enable "use rpatool" feature for possible protected rpa's or tool that u mentioned (actually it's same tool but urs just probably has newer version).

I just realized that I didn't have that selected when I retried those games when I did them.

- For RenPy (both main and avif/AV1) compressor added support for RenPy SDK building v7.8.3 and v8.3.3
