For what compressor u want mass/bulk game compress feature?

Windows 11, the UAGC folder is currently in the root of the C:\ drive: I dragged the game folder that is on another drive, but not in the root D:\New\GameFolder
My prefs (For some reason, I can't change the location of the folder C\:UAGC to another location (on a different drive). It is also very inconvenient that every time I have to check the boxes for H.265 and nvenc. Usually, the hardware changes rarely, and I don't see adequate reasons for why they reset every time. It's much simpler to remove it once when changing hardware than to check it every time. But perhaps I don't understand something, and if I remove/change the video card and forget to uncheck the box, will it lead to any irreparable consequences?

Don't forget to read tooltips where are useful info stored and contains answer why in both cases folder location and avif quality value is not saved! 1755508974912.png
I'll think about making av1_nvenc button saveable along with to make it work with auto avif/AV1 feature in next UACG vers. But probably I don't gonna make av1_nvenc button saveable coz about 1/2 of games doesn't supports AV1 so it's not universal and should be manually enabled only when needed or (using auto AV1/avif feature).

(install at UAGC v3.1.3 v17):
- For RenPy main compressor when auto avif/AV1 compress used av1_nvenc could be activated at main UAGC settings
- For RenPy main compressor added security fix rpy file install feature which could be activated at main UAGC settings

"ultrafast ffmpeg" mode to av1_nvenc for RenPy main compressor. Install update and try with settings that shown at screenshots. If not helps then switch to SVT-AV1 + "ultrafast ffmpeg" and compare its speed with av1_nvenc since there are nothing I can do anymore about this.

Dat is just renamed webm/VP8 vids...
For this one renaming, compressing and then renaming back will remove the transparency of the videos, Do you know what I could do to keep it? Or do you think its the renaming?

Are u sure that there are any transparency used since for me it seems that no (but I didn't played the game, only opened few vids) and I don't think it could be somehow connected with renaming if u renamed it back after compression? For now there are no support for video transparency in UAGC and probably would never be since it's very rare case and kinda hard to implement not breaking anything else.

Small bug RPGM.
Auto Enable non latin fix with old game donor. Removes Old game donor button.

I take Auto enable non latin fix button off. Old game Donor button Activates in RPGM
It's not bug, if some (other) button disables when u press it that means that both features are not compatible. Non latin fix renames game files before compressing so there are no way that file donoring would work after it. And I don't see any reasonable solution here coz if do donoring before auto non latin fix process then it would be kinda pointless since non latin file names would be skipped anyway, and if do non latin fix on donored game it also won't work since in newer version file order woudn't be the same coz it will contain more files than old(er) version.

I'm almost 100% sure that all videos don't have transpacency (coz all are in yuv420p format without any alpha channel) and problem is not in them since at screenshot u show right half of picture is static image (but I dunno why dress cut off). 25-stand.png
So to solve problem u can try: not compress images (since movies are ~90% of game size), try to use different cwebp advanced settings (activate it 1st): alpha_q = 100, loseless mode on, or compress the images using pingo tool instead.

there is cweb, like Megalol talked earlier
which almost 90% compressors don´t use. (iam here just press buttons nconvert)
except Megalol designed that
on cweb advanced could be:
-alpha_q 100, -jpeg_like -lossless -f (decide filtering 20-100 ratio [20-50 typical])

Tested Pingo tool myself. Same result. Picture cut off

Stains of Blue [AQUAMARINE DEMO v1.3b] already fix that problem with cweb

I've checked again, and found out that there are transparency in videos (opened in Google Chrome file "25-stand.webm" and have seen it) but ffprobe tool and playing those file in video player not showing any transparency at all. So it has nothing to do with images and thats why 25-stand.png is cut off (probably just a placeholder image for video).
Is there possible get scan the gamefile button
what are inside than i multiple times cancel uagc
and starting again and thinking about compress parameters.
Video bitrates, images quality etc.

Other way was i get to see those file sizes on Bob´s compress info.
And there isn´t otherway see them before starting compress

Yea started once uagc. Stopped to see those game files data. Then compressing again right parameters
I don't 100% understand what u want and how it's supposed to work and most important question for what u need it? If u meant that wants to see (with preview and extraction support) contens of rpa you can use 1755725284136.png at main UAGC page for it. But there aren't any tool that would show initial quality of video, images and audio coz that info only knows game developer that created the game and that concerns official compressed versions too. You can install some tools like mediainfo (for video and audio) and exiftool (for images) and scan files with it but max it would show is bitrates for video and mostly useless info (like alpha channel params for images with transparency) for images without any CRF, image quality and etc. You may take a look for RenPy compress assistant but it's for images only and not sure that it whats that u need. 1755726444077.png

Lol, not seen until u told me :D. Anyway there are nothing to test unless/if I'll implement transparent video compression support for RPGM MV/MZ.Anyway this is tricky sht coz video was created using tranparent png images but in its metadata it shows otherwise. So to compress video probably it would need to extract png frames from video "ffmpeg -vcodec libvpx -i 25-stand.webm -pix_fmt rgba image_%%d.png" and recreate it again using "ffmpeg -i image_%%d.png -c:v libvpx-vp9 -pix_fmt yuva420p output.webm" but not sure if game would read it properly after it.

I'm writing this post not to have anything fixed, but so that people know that such a nuance exists: on the main compressor, with auto-avif (which worked in this case): 9279 webp - no problems, 26630 png - no problems, 6378 jpg - after 3k the performance dropped sharply, 3-10 files were compressed in 10 seconds to 1 minute, CPU load 11-20%, and even the mouse lagged. Just in case, I'm attaching screenshots of the settings, maybe the problem is in them.

I'm writing this post not to have anything fixed, but so that people know that such a nuance exists: on the main compressor, with auto-avif (which worked in this case): 9279 webp - no problems, 26630 png - no problems, 6378 jpg - after 3k the performance dropped sharply, 3-10 files were compressed in 10 seconds to 1 minute, CPU load 11-20%, and even the mouse lagged. Just in case, I'm attaching screenshots of the settings, maybe the problem is in them.

U again forgot about speed limit feature that I've told u before, also it's worth to try (without auto avif just for testing purposes) using nconvert (new version that I've posted recenly) + avif at same game coz in auto avif used imagemagick which probably have memory leaking problems after some time when run big amount of its instances. CPU usage is useless, lags at top PC usually happens coz memory issues (better show RAM usage including page file when ur PC lagging starting).

Вы снова забыли о функции ограничения скорости, о которой я говорил вам ранее, также стоит попробовать (без автоматического отключения просто в целях тестирования) с использованием nconvert (новая версия, которую я недавно опубликовал) + avif в той же игре, потому что в автоматическом использовании использовался imagemagick, который, вероятно, имеет проблемы с утечкой памяти через некоторое время при запуске большого количества его экземпляров. Использование процессора бесполезно, задержки на верхнем ПК обычно случаются из-за проблем с памятью (лучше показать использование оперативной памяти, включая файл подкачки, когда ваш ПК запаздывает).
I can't show this because all sensor indicators freeze at that moment, the tabs don't switch, and the dispatcher itself hangs. I can't even take a screenshot, as the button doesn't respond, while UAGC shows memory usage around 16-20%. I don't think it's that easy to fill up 64 gigs of RAM. But now I've found out that the problem occurs specifically with jpg to avif; with other formats, everything is fine. Several games were compressed without any issues, so I removed the speed limit. If I'm not mistaken, I installed the new version you published, but to use it, I would appreciate your guidance on how to check the version of RenPy (so I can know for sure if avif is supported or not, rather than relying on the automatic function).

Check ..\Some_game_name\game\script_version.txt file (in > 99% cases it has correct info, UAGC by default looks in RenPy source files but it's more complicated), here u can see list of versions that supports avif/AV1 1755782471883.png
