Funny I heard yesterday that Intel and Nvidia might be teaming up. I think that is to get around those tariffs and for NVidia to have more than 1 GPU to sell at each location
Bet no one had Intel and Nvidia teaming up to take down AMD

In exe properties there is info about Godot engine so u may try Godot compressor with enabled exe feature if u want.

So, I've tried just the standard compression, custom engine compression with all kinds of random ass results.
Doing normal compression, I get images cut off, and other random shit.
Now, doing custom compression I will get images missing inside of images.
I think at this point, I've not no clue what is going on.

Game has protection check of 2 (?) files size inside images.rpa (extracted path would be \game\images\pictures\ayame_tanlaugh.webp and maybe this one too \game\images\pictures\ayame_tanlaugh2.webp) so u need to restore original ayame_tanlaugh.webp after compression to get rid of images downscale and upscale "bugs".

Alright, it also has a fan patch which replaces the entire game so I'm going to guess it is the same with that. I'll tinker around here later and see what happens.
Ah, while I was doing that, I remembered about another game back in the day, but I just cannot think of it. It had some kind of similar protection as well; we had to do some kind of script manipulation with it.

Well, that didn't seem to work, tried normal and custom, and replaced with your fix and also replaced with the images you said above as well that might also need to be added back. Still exhibits the same results.

Yeah, dat sht is more complex and my fix helps only for few scenes in start of the game only. It needs to get rid of protection by removing some code in rpy(c) file(s) (probably in scene_helpers.rpy something to do with sto func). Yeah, probably RPGM version shouldn't have this sht coz I don't think it's possible to make such protection there due limitations of that engine. Actually this anti compression protection is so weird coz some games don't have such strong anti piracy protection comparing that dev just don't want his game be compressed and probably spend many days implementing it according info I got while cracking it.
