Okay, "played" the demo...
It runs on my old Win10 PC. Maybe I'd wish it didn't, ha ha. But you know, considering how "advanced" the graphics look, I shouldn't have been even worried about that.

It starts with the character creation while being on a train (I guess she's on the way to the city for the 1st time). The girl has some seriously overlarge breasts, overly large in uncomfortable way... looking bad in the super unflattering clothes... Let's change that? I throw a dice a few times (Roll All) but the tits get mostly larger, not smaller, featuring sizes that are truly grotesque. Some versions have pregnant bellies... Goodness gracious. I get quite scared by the random results, so I switch back to Default, ha ha... One thing doesn't change. The grey-green skin tone I wished to change the 1st thing, the small, flat lips... The fact that the girl isn't pretty. That's a first. Even the World Jane, undeniably was pretty. In City, you needed to throw the dice hundred times, but you ended with quite pretty Jane. Not this time.

Then there is Expression - okay, the small, flat mought can be permanently open wide. Pass. Boner on and off... What? Oh, there can be even MALE version of the main character, this time. I clicked it. He looks ugly, and I can't imagine THE STORY tailored to male MC. Will the poor guy get molested by physically stronger dudes on a street, sleep fucked by Diner guy, or offered a job in a brothel? I quickly switched back. Roll Color: If I was not satisfied with the skin tone, then the girl now can have all the clown colors of the rainbow. Like she previously did not look unnatural enough. Geez. Rotate makes her stand from the profile... Perhaps that's better, because perhaps it's better to see LESS.

I clicked the body, but was not very encouraged to tamper with something. Results did not look better, they looked worse. And it's not very intutitive. There's just some kind of slider, If I changed lips from "zero" to 1 or 2, they got even THINNER not fuller. Same with everything else... None of the details would make the girl look better, so better stick with what is... Couldn't find Breast size, it was hidden under body, Spec. Made those a bit smaller... The smallest looked too small, so I did not go far left (when I re-played the Demo, I did chose the tiniest breasts, to see if it makes a difference, but it did not, so perhaps the demo does not yet have the function). "Clothes" obviously could not be bettered much... They're all the same, just many different colors. And those, oddly enough, honestly did not make a difference. Okay, seeing that I won't be able to better the girl's looks much, I moved to Backstory.

Okay, first there are 4 Quests? You don't get to choose Backstory, unless there is a Quest first, because that needs to be chosen, I tried to leave it blank and it did not let me. I'm not interested in Quests actually, the main pull of Unaware games was that it was absent. I was free to create my own story. Explore, and find out what the game will make me feel like doing. Each Quest has "available backstories", so the game even limits which backstory can do which quest... I find all these constrictions rather unfortunate. Then there are 29 Backstories (but the 4 Quest don't list 29 backstories in total, they list together 13) and I hoped the game will MOVE AWAY from those - let's keep just 2 options, start in the Flat/start in Bunker! Backstories never appealed to me, because they needlessly try to set things up beforehand, ruining my excitement and freedom of building my character as I go. Who knows if I end up a slut? Who knows, whether I would gradually choose to be actually kind to people? Or I might decide I will steal, for the thrill? WHEN I'll feel like it. Never mind. I am forced to leave it on the Quest that allows backstory Gal, which seems least harmful of the choices... Then there are 25 Goals, all of which are not needed, I think each player is well capable to find their goal in the game, ha ha. Okay, I quickly left the Backstory and moved to Traits. Perhaps I'll find something useful in there? Looks like, they really went overboard with the traits. All possible aspect of life has been taken into consideration. Even Politics You do still remember that this is a porn game? Sometimes trying to be smart and more smart and more smart, you end up dumb, they say. Never mind. I chose Disposition, Sex appeal, to get molested a lot, but after that, quickly leave that section, too. Selecting each trait has not only positive effect, but also a negative effect which makes it NOT worth it. So, this only boost the difficulty level of playing, but my GENERAL impression is: So, all this is suppose to DISTRACT the player this time, from the fact the sex is actually not very good?

I let the girl "walk" for a while and had to laugh... she looked like she was on an invisible gym threadmill to which she kept getting stuck... looks like making a decent animation really is NO JOKE. Now I dread now how the sex will look like. So, the clashing contrast of slow developed graphic and super complicated gameplay is what struck me the most.

General offers Age, Birth Day, Blood group... Jesus, who cares. It sets game's "difficulty", meaning difficulty as understood by the dev. I'm afraid we're poles apart on this. I don't want all money, skills and mini-games (christ, those will be UNavoidable now, or what?) come to me much easier, on the cost that BAD EVENTS are less likely to happen! Never mind. You can toggle pregnancy off and you can toggle PEE off. Yes, else on top of everything else, Jane would need to pee. I gave a small laugh, we just discussed the Focus On Basic Bodily Needs In Porn Games in one other Thread...

Not interested to change things furter, I clicked Finish character creation. The breasts suddenly looked too big again. And especially awkward looking in those clothes. The girl gave out stupid sounds and toddler like giggle. I guess "female moans" would need to be totally muted, again. I don't know where to find that setting here, though. Game informed me that the characters, including Jane, can lie - gee, thanks for telling me this. A guy came up to Jane, still sitting on the train all alone, and asked if she had a free seat. He looked REPULSIVE, so I said no. No tutorial needed.

Then you can either Stay awake, to straight arrive in the city, or Take a Nap... Okay, you can't choose that. That's not in the game. Okay, if something is NOT in the game, then DON'T put it in the game. You are presented with 4 options, one is Home - Masturbation Mini-Game. Oh, no. What I HATED most in whole 'Pizza Hot' game, was the mastrubation mini-game. All in all, piss o** with mini-games! Diner - Work mini game? Diner- Isometric View test? WHAT? Main Street - default. Okay, I choose Main street. Okay, buildings look exactly the same. Street is filled with too many people who are moving too much, though. It's unfomfortable. They remind me the City people, but even more ugly. They all have weird knees, that stick out, like wooden dolls roughly assembled together. You want to be considerate, understanding that the graphics still has long way to go. But it's hard, considering how much the game pushes in other aspects of all the game mechanics to distract you from your fap. Some of the women carry breasts so massive I pity them. Someone does have the kink, and dev obliged. But it looks MASSIVELY awkward more than anything else. I laugh seeing it, should I be excited or what. Not REALLY wanting to enter either home or diner to face the mini-games, I stand on a street for a while. Game informs me that NPCs who are walking, have small chance of groping me, those standing or sitting idly have much higher chance? What nonsense is that? Never mind. After a short while, guy comes and starts massaging the girl's ass with full force. Right there in the middle of the people closely walking by. It looks so bizarre. The text informs me that I was grabbed by Matthew Ford. Then he's gone. Other people have their conversation showed above them as bubbles. Before, you needed to click those to see, IF you were interested. I still have not moved, because I'm taking all this in... Another guy starts fondling those girl's massive jugs, game informs me that Jane is grabbed by Ernest Green. I remember that there was a Slum Shop guy I repeatedly talked to in the game, and never learned as much as his first name or nickname. Now, I am informed of a FULL NAME of each guy randomly grabbing me on a street and disappearing? Where's the logic in that? Should I be writing this down, or what?Okay, I need to go to Diner, because I can't take the street any longer.

I hit arrow keys... Nothing. Good that this is a demo, if full game, I would stop playing. I click Diner entrance. Nothing. I need to click ground then, to gradually get to it? Oh, there's the metro... Should I check that out? Before I can enter metro, one more guy stops to grope me, called guard, one called law (so, it's just their occupation for me to mysteriously know, now?) even touches the girl in between the legs? It's broad daylight. You know, there is a line between exciting and ridiculous? I clicked the Metro entrance, or at least I thought I did, and Jane appeared on a huge toilet seat, bigger than her person. It's a demo, there are bugs, I get it. There are options to go to Storerrom and back to Main street... But it got unresponsive. I had to hard close the whole Demo. EDiT: Tried playing again, somehow got inside the Diner, Kevin is supposed to be attractive (there is a clickable info about him now, about all the NPCs, like, if you WOULD like to engage with the street molester... first, you learn whether he is engaged and has children? I remembered the saying Less Is More) and well, he is a redhead and looks a bit weird... Then the "mini" game totally takes over. You know, before, I was glad that it only took me a click to "Work Hard", and I could build my rep up with Kevin as I pleased (it was enough effort that I did try to build it). Now, I need to actually assemble pizzas? And I have Kevin groping Jane just as a side-view while doing that? Are we still in a porn game, or game for children? You do realize that EVERYTHING, the sleeping, showering, cooking, traveling, shopping, working.... CREATES ENOUGH "MINIGAME" ALREADY to the actual lewd stuff in the game? That you don't need to add even more? Jesus, add 1 good fap scene (complete, with climax, no black screen). ONE.

If you wanted to give me Christmas gift, then make some decent update to City or to World. The City scenes are just side-view, but most of them could be re-done for us to at least see penetration and cumshot from the side, that would be enough, or to see tongue licking a pussy, I hear it's a lot of work, but surely less than whole new game? Sure, and its ... OK? But I do prefer well written dialogs more. Also if I can get behind the feelings ... and I like to extend enjoyment. Xray on the other side i could not care less. Different tastes (which is a good thing, imagine all just to like 1 style). Thus generally, I may not be the best to be asked. But I also never claimed its one of my fav. games.
It just sounds actually sad, that its a fav, yet you cant enjoy it.

BloomGuy Not sure if it's really that. Some focus on visuals (the style, the girls/woman they like, ..). Some on animations (like f.e. PURE ONYX). Some game-play elements. Some on story. Some on dialog, (and may other smaller aspects like sound if any). At best all comes together, but that's rare, so you have to pick your priorities. And that's where kinks and expectations you have meet reality. If those don't match, I can understand getting passionate. Expressing your wishes is also quite important. It has to be in proper frame of course - one has to think how likely the massge will even get through. Not sure if that's the case here, but again, I might not be best to be asked about (that too).

I just can tell about the effort behind the remake and it's very unlikely to stop at this point. More concretre plans have been out there for months (and near 2 years? I think generally on the remake), discussions with patrons and such so ... given the current focus new features this year? Hard to tell, but I also know few wished for cumshots and uitc2/r was made because its easier to do things there, as it's done in a way more flexible way. I wouldn't get my hopes up, except dev says otherwise.

Feel free to correct me if I got it wrong, HaPi but I think what she means is that sex doesn't feel satisfying.
She mentioned multiple times that the climax is not really visible in all Unaware games and I have to agree. If Jane cums she doesn't squirt, she doesn't really quiver. Yes, my sig does have the game 'Unaware Of The World', because it really fullfills all my dreams as of the game's content, and all I am missing are little details like absolutely every scene should have the dick moving in the pussy visible (never mind if from side only), we should be able to see tongue licking pussy when the guys are giving Jane cuni, and each climax should have some cum shooting around the dick, and male moan. And if the game uses x-ray, then there should be also cum filling the x-ray during the climax (play a bit Ashley The Pirate for the reference). If this game had this perfected, and the story developed to Jane being able to become someone's girlfriend, break up, get back together, then I'll say it's all nicely completed and it's my FAVORITE game. But, unfortunatelly, its own developer abandonds it, puts a demeaning message into it, literally saying, I quote: "Don't play this shitty version..." to start a re-make to which it took some time for me to warm up to, gotta say. I think this is a horrible mistake by the dev, this message should be removed, the game at least a bit updated to some sort of a closure, and be proud of it not demean it. If you want to continue with a remake, then continue with ONE.

The second remake, the Revisited, I think I made long enough post, I played the demo which made me laugh, but actually it's kind of sad. I have strong impression that the developer is actually burdened with having to develop a lewd game, and probably if the game would be just some sort of "life" simulation without explicit sex scenes, they might be happier. Because otherwise, I can't imagine what the dev believes should make the people compel to keep playing. I know the game mechanics can be addicting. My City playthrough, though I can't really "fap", and I don't have anything much left to achieve, I still have several details like, what would reaching a Rep 100 for Metro do, will Kevin fire me even if I'm his own GF, how will the old World drinks with Ben scene when she's blowing him under the table look in City... But it's just a few things, generally I am bored. Until the men in her life start acting, or re-acting on Jane's action with more drama (or at least, more action;-) Still, I created quite pretty Jane, equipped her with many great traits, and settled in the game. So, if a new update will come, I will download it and play it. But, if the Revisited game come, looks like I won't even download it. Just what the dev believes will people make stay for the long run in there? It looks ugly. Sex will probably look bad. So, what does the dev believe will keep you hooked to it? You will go to work and assemble pizzas in there? You will have more jobs to choose (not lewd)? You will build your stats to stay fit and healthy, to pay your rent on time, shower, cook (and become good at it), build your relationships? Go dating, get pregnant, choose the best foster family for your baby? It's all life sim not sexy.
