The guy is most likely Japanese if he gives so much crap about Japanese laws, but I don't get why he's been on Patreon for so long and it only took one DLsite release to bring everything crashing down, like the laws didn't exist before this release.
Also he's like "I'll never make it uncensored! EVER! Not even a patch! Not even on itch, nuh-uh."
A shame, but a lot seems to end this way. It's either Patreon busted/Steam rejected/rebuild from the ground up/lost interest or straight-up disappearance, I've seen too many that don't end well...

Specifically, previously via patreon he didn't officially sell his game to Japan, so it was a bit of a gray area. He wants to make Loli/Incest and other stuff that is illegal on patreon a reality though so he moved to DLSite to be able to keep funding. So he basically had to choose between one ill or the other.

Oh and episode 2 (So the chapter after Alice) will have a Loli character so he was certain he will get banned on patreon when that comes out.

As an aside, Numeric is absolutely aware of uncensor patches.

Aw man. I could handle censored stuff even if it’s not ideal but loli stuff is unfortunate. Hopefully they’re not a huge character.

The author literally earned $ 100,000 in just a few days, and maybe even more. Up to 120 000. His playing took 1st place in the dslite rating. From a financial point of view, it is more profitable for him to sell the game with censorship. Personally, I understand this, censorship is not a problem, it can be removed, but I'm sad that there will be no more regular alpha versions, I'll have to wait a whole year until the game is fully released

What do you play battle front and think 100G file size is good? Its over 7 gigs, by the end of this it will probably be 50G.

Bro... 7GB for what we have here is nothing, we have games that make 3GB without any 3D animation. The graphismes of the game are really high... just look at textures, shadows and all, we even have some PS4 games that aren't looking that good. And i doubt it will make 50GB at the end... Maybe 30 at best depending of the amount of content.

agree...today isn't 200x. game now are more detail and take more resource than they used to be. that's why lately tripple A titles took at least 60Gb to 200Gb (ehem warzone) but still...7GB for this game still not qualified enough. specially i found many really good looking games for less than 7Gb. i think devs didn't compressed any files and that lead to crazy space. also some unecessary like 4k packs had been force into the game instead of extra resolution packs. third they build character on existing models that made more complex coding and result is watse of data. anyway...we can't expect tripple A quality from individual studio.
