You know I've never understood this take and it only has become more tone deaf as more people make it. like Imagine going into a horror game community like Silent Hill or Resident Evil and being upset that the monsters are too scary and deserve a humiliation scene that's so bad that anytime you see the monsters again you can't help but think of the humiliation scene and burst out laughing. It's as if the fact that people loved being scared, the thrills involved, and mentally fucked with is the point of Horror just like being in a situation where no matter what you do you're still helpless to your masochistic desires that everyone around you takes advantage of is to femdom.
I mean under very specific circumstances it could work (Just Play Monster Girl Quest from start to finish) But Under the Witch not only isn't that game but it's hard to find many porn games that caters to the niche that it fills so why should it change to the point where it's not that original niche anymore. It's no different than asking the Soulsborne series to have a easy mode, or coming into a vanilla porn Harem game and asking for NTR content.

- Someone complaining that a fetish implemented needs to be removed because they don't personally like it. How could someone ever be into something weird when me me me I like this other weird thing? Can't this creator that has been developping a game for years, financially supported by people who requested their preferences, ignore their artistic and supporter decisions for what me, random dude on an obscure forum who hasn't paid a cent, demands?
- Someone complaining that a certain type of content isn't implemented yet/might not get implemented. Enigmatic how a game with maybe 15% of it's content out so far doesn't feature all the types of scenes I demand to see. I'm sure all the very differently designed witches will end up with the exact same scenes as eachother; this creator sure hasn't shown any diversity in previous projets, however short they were. Even if 'sex scenes' don't ever get implemented (I feel like they already are with anal sex but I digress), maybe actually supporting the creator would have helped get your ideas across (see point above).
- People debating for pages on how specific kink tools are meant to be used according to the original patent holder (I did actually like those posts, they did feel less entitled and more comedic but I'm sure some were actually serious.)
That said, I'll give out my two complaints regarding this game, and maybe people will agree:
- It would be nice to be able to change the controls. The QTE's are not very one handed player friendly, and I have yet to figure out how to press the mouse wheel QTE on a touchpad. Maybe it's planned, maybe it's impossible with that engine, idk.
- I can't get over the MC's line when he wins a fight. "You don't deserve to exist" bro you were getting hard from sticking your head in her boot like a minute ago, tone it down. Feels out of place and out of character, but then again maybe I just forgot how annoying the MC was in previous games.

First, I never complained about the femdom. Second, those comparisons have nothing to do with this. A scary game can have changes in tone: peaceful moments where you investigate the lore or stock up on weapons, or something like that. Without such moments, there would be no build-up or crescendo. The same applies here. You can change the tone of her being sweet (a lead-up scene) to snare the protagonist and do the aggressive femdom again (the main scene). This follows with Kuro’s characterization; she doesn’t display animosity toward you like Dealer or Alice. This is consistent with her actions, such as when she pretended to surrender and then stunned you.
And here, it would make sense because it is a "reward scene," not a punishment scene.

I really hope Xen will mostly get the same type of awesome content that Kuro is getting (foot worship, facesitting, rimjobs, etc.), and that the futanari thing that was teased will be limited to one or two scenes at most.
I'm also not a fan of the witches giving him fellatio or allowing him to have sex with them, but it is what it is. I found Alice from the previous game to be the golden standard - even after winning a battle against her, all the sorry fuck got for his troubles was a footjob while getting insulted... now that is domination.
Still, as long as the author keeps it up with the cooler content, I guess I'm fine with whatever.

It does because you're missing the point. yes a horror game has these moments of reprieve however there's a difference between a reprieve and misunderstanding the tone/what the game is going for. Yes Horror has a lot of buildup and payoff and as a matter of fact so does a Shonen anime that's a major part of it all. But Under the Witch is neither in fact it is trying to be about the fact that no matter how hard you try the mc is powerless against his own carnal desires which inevitably loops him back to being a complete doormat. It's why the sex scene in Herba's path is both a bad end and way stacked in her favor otherwise. what you and most people on this thread ask for either borderline breaks the premise or just feels weirdly out of character hence the Horror humiliation, and soulsborne easy mode comparison.
Imagine something like View attachment 1732040715103.webp (edit: .Webp files are bullshit) in Silent hill 2 and someone asked for it to wear an assortment of clothing, or as a mandatory segments threw a bunch of them in a room near the end of the game all not doing much nor attacking so you can just kill them because it was satisfying. That's not the point of the game or the story it's trying to tell. The game would be worse off as it hurts the message and retroactively recontextualizes your previous encounters but not in the favor of the game.
If you want a more close to home comparison it'd be like if very early on in MGQ, Alice Kept Luka as a sex slave, and or started killing the lesser monster girls for no reason or because she finds them annoying. It makes no sense for the character since 8 times out of 10 Alice would kill Luka and straight up while the remaining times is just to toy with him/getting her own energy topped off (Ignoring the final scenes near the end). Plus it would be needlessly cruel and out of character when you keep her role in the story in mind. And when she actually kills something it says more about the victim in question rather than Alice. Like Luka is so stupid that he tries to kill the endgame ""threat"" extremely early on or the fact that the Bezzlebubs are straight sociopaths that not only don't care that they are but would never change nor would the world benefit from their continued existence, never mind the fact that Luka isn't strong enough to subdue them.
Yeah Kuro is somewhat playful, but so was Alice, Herba, and Dealer. For the first two witches it's a mask a false sense of security Dealer is not even hiding the fact that it's a mask, For Alice it's a result of what she learned from school toying with her peers and classmates that only get's more validating to her the moment she realizes how pathetic and easily susceptible her brother (who is implied to be a decent warrior) is to it which is why his victories ends up not becoming a victory in the grand scheme of things. Kuro is mostly Apathetic and needs to make sure her Cock-for-brains hireling wouldn't make her situation worse since there are important lives at stake. The MC is a means to an end or a pawn to the bigger game hence the harsh nameing of minion. Hell the name Japanese name that Alice actually gives 下僕 (Geboku) says all you need to know about the relationship as it directly ranslates to manservant the first kanji 下 being inferrior and the second Kanji 僕 in this context being manservant. There's no real attraction here that warrants a MGQ style lovey-dovey sex scene like with MGQ's relationship with Luka and Alice Nor much of a trap element to it compared to Dealer or Herba who would do the same thing to practically anyone the MC is just their latest victim. To Kuro it's a transaction if not a contract, The MC borders on hates Kuro but cannot bring himself to act out on it because A. Kuro is clearly way too strong and B. the MC thinks with his fists first, cock second, and brains dead last.

The fart-hose hypnotism scene is what makes this game easily the greatest of all in the femdom gènre. Just wish the magic handjob technique had been incorporated simultaneously... but then again that might be overkill
I know this is a bit off-topic, but I really hope there's a way to extract the soundtrack from version 0.2. The night soundtrack during roaming and the battle theme with the sister are really calming. any ideas
