Hello everyone! Anyone miss me?
First of all, I want to apologize for the lack of development updates recently. I know many of you are waiting for the release, and it puts quite a bit of pressure on me honestly
Nonetheless, I can assure you that the development is progressing steadily and it won't be that much longer until the release. This post is mainly to give you an overview of where we are right now and how much still needs to be done.
Two days ago, I finally finished writing the rest of the script, and it is currently being revised by
open_your_third_eye. While he is doing so, I can start making the images, which should take one and a half month tops, hopefully even less. After that, there will only be small stuff left to do, so the release should be shortly after.
- Update of v0.2 and new features.
As some of you might already have heard, apart from creating new content, there is also been a massive rework on the old content. Here are some changes you can look forward to:
- Redesign of two characters: Alice and Jennifer.
Alice before.
Alice After.
Jennifer before.
Jennifer after.
- Revision of all dialogue from last update.
- Integration of the the new phone feature.
- And changes to some scenes and choices (Remake of images and addition of new choices)
There are also several other changes that can't be seen in the game, like a code rework for example. Honestly, I'm looking forward to seeing your reactions to the update and the new features.
This post will be followed by two more posts. One of them is the earning report, which I'm sure most of you are impatiently waiting for.
And the other one will be a poll about a potential gameplay feature inside the game, that will also be found in the updated version of v0.2. The feature is entirely experimental, so if you don't like it, we will not be following it up any further. I personally think it's very cool though, so I'm look forward to seeing what you guys think about it. I'm not sure when we're going to make the poll, since we still need to prepare some more footage, so you guys can have a better idea of what it would look like in the actual game.
