the problem with this mindset is do you tag a lot of art real life porn, as its common practice in the circle to trace over actual porn for posing.Nah dude, its the use of AI in the best way. Make AI art and then draw over everything that seems to be a mistake. Its really easy to draw in the AI artstyle too if you wanna draw over. Theres a few untouched parts but the touched ones are obvious, still every image I've seen here show complete creative freedom and you can see the work the artist put into it.
Also the drawn hands are cute. Still agree on the AI tag but only because the tech was involved. If someone requires 3d objects to make 2d backgrounds I'd say the same for 3dcg, even if you don't actually see them. Call a spade a spade and all.
I have nothing against AI art and if you check my past posts I have pointed out the lack of substance to some of the complaints from AI haters. However one of my issues with MOST AI art that I hope is resolved and is alluded to in your own post is that non-AI art uses the "same background art and character models across games".Just curious, why does the AI art aspect bother people? I see the same backgrounds and models across most games- to me this isn't really any different than using Stable Diffusion art. There's no way people haven't noticed the same models across all these game engines. I imagine it's not an ethics thing here- wouldn't make much sense...so if we're good with the same background art and character models across games, why the issue with AI, why does it need to be brought up? I can understand if people get hung up on odd proportions or anatomy, but again...the models on so many renpy games just look...bad. I guess I just don't expect H games from small dev teams to have exquisite and unique art.
Based. Degenerates like AI-gen shovelware "devs" belong on a cross.report on steam lets gooooo
Yes its true that tons of artist do this, they're one of the most ideologically and ego driven folks out there and whether or not it makes sense is another question. And within the context of what you're saying here, this may mean that after all there are no ethics when it comes to drawing. Theres worse things beyond that too, like games made in other commercially available programs that are used for 3d assets that don't allow for this sort of thing, Illusion games come to mind. Though you can debate weather or not making a free game with these tools are at least gray area legal. And considering potentially morally abhorrent things, I think that AI is the least abuseable, at least in the sens of potential malpractice as you still need a tool like photoshop to alter images. AI alone itself is pretty bad in that. What I mean is that it still requires a lot of user input, kinda in the same vein that tracing does.the problem with this mindset is do you tag a lot of art real life porn, as its common practice in the circle to trace over actual porn for posing.
AI is definitely gonna be amazing in the future. Right now we're still in the rough stages though.Just curious, why does the AI art aspect bother people? If you can't nut up enough to make something with your own hands, then it might as well not be made. I'd rather have something like Black Souls, where the art isn't perfect, than have something with AI. Why? Cause AI art just means more crap. It's not great, it'll never be something that is just great, at best it'll be "good for AI", and stuff like that.Just curious, why does the AI art aspect bother people? TBH tho, I've seen worse mistakes in hand drawn products around here, specially when it comes to proportions. This one in particular is very minor and barely noticeable unless you're looking for it.View attachment 3034354
The use of AI in the BEST way guys, I promise!
Just so's you know, Daz3D is basically a software to create rigged human models for art and animation. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Also, as a different but similar concept to this, koikatsu is sometimes used in games that then trace it over, to great succes in my opinion, it gives a unique feel to it togheter with the familiarity.
