It sucks. I should be used to it, but not even a lifetime of ADHD prepares you for the shock of being in front of the open fridge and having no fucking clue what you were doing there. If you're lucky you'll notice your car keys before you close the door. They'll be right there besides your wife hair brush that she has been looking for for the past week.
