Am I doing something wrong? I'm on the second floor and I'm just wandering around completely lost. For combat I'm only using my default attack because I have no skills and the few I've found don't do any more damage. Constantly having to leave due to fatigue and poison slows my progression even further.

Cool game,beautiful artwork,has dark fantasy theme & deep gameplay mechanic. I hope there's a uncensored patch for this game. Btw Is there a guide for this game?
I'm far from being a expert of this game but there a guy on a balcony in the frist floor of the dungeon that ask you a duel and gave me a skill to equip for shield, there also a bar opened in the sewer of the town with a merchant selling you skills that can really help you out

its 2025 how do these gemes dev not put a prop map and quest tracker system in games like this

You can get skills and passive abilities by looting everything you see. Pots, Chests, Crates, etc
Then you equip them! Bear in mind, some skills only work for some weapon types.
Pay attention also to what your weapon scales with. Daggers and shit get a bonus from higher SKILL. Big ass swords of course get bonuses from STR.
This isn't a game you can necessarily rush, you may need to explore more and acquire more ether, loot and skills before you can rise up to later challenges.
tl;dr get to grinding
I just also found out your cooking skill leveling up when you sleep in a campsite (could level up by.. i don't know cooking stuff instead?..) so that way you can regain stamina for going deeper into the dungeon, still looking for that women ghost btw people.

She is on the EAST wing of the castle labyrinth. I wish I could tell you specific directions other than head to your left but you just need to keep looking.
I feel like there are a lot of hooks for event peogression/ additional scenarios that aren't in the game yet.
The dlc patch that is planned is either huge or this game was incredibly rushed and needed another year to bake.

Currently for me, I found one at the item shop to the left of the church. If you offer to work at that shop for the day you'll end up receiving a suspicious package. Coming back to that shop the next day with that package still in hand will trigger an event. The shop owner will end up tricking Atlas on signing on a contract where she'll end up performing sexual favors for him, unless she pays off the contract. From then onwards you'll have access to the backroom of the shop where you can sleep every night to trigger scenes with the owner. Amongst the scenes has an anal scene. Enjoy fellas.

The problem I had there was how combat felt completely brainless, which made the wandering around feel even more boring that it already does.
Where the hell is this ? 3rd layer is rather small aside from sea of trees but didn't find it inside either...
Can you please post screenshot of the area or the specific place? I can't seem to find it.
I'm not having much difficulty with the combat. I'm just default attacking through enemies while regenerating all taken damage.

Behind Otto's house in the Exile village, you'll need a key which you can either get from his quest or by using a ivisibility potion to sneak into his room and steal it.
Bruh' i was at the right place but i needed to go alone for she show up Thanks anyway haha, while exploring i just found some lava area hidden behind those tree where that ghost is, i was wondering if there something to equip for avoiding to be burn to death? My gad that game kinda deep i love it!
What are the things you can do at the beginning you like whats beyond the leeches and is there a way to bypass that petrification door or is that forced
You can get back to that area later in the game so don't worry too much about it.
