You need to bomb the other openings on layer 1 to get access, something of a NG+ area i supposed
just become one of the villagers by eating the stew everyday for several days.
are you 1.04 or 1.06, maybe update the game? btw latest ver is 1.08, with lots of bugs fixed already.

Make sure to let the other noble at the party know about the assassinations. Then gift the noble's son anything besides the invisibility potion. If you give him the invisibility potion he'll use it to murder the guy who killed his father and basically exile himself.

Well my main menu still shows 1.06 though im pretty sure i've updated it using the gameupdate
Nothing substantial is locked behind a bomb on floor 2, just a catalyst and some equipment. One of the bomb paths leads you to a shortcut for the tainted maiden statue, but it's just a shortcut and you can get to it on all other paths.
I don't know what temple you're talking about on floor 2. There's the Oz Sanctuary door on floor 1, another Oz Sanctuary door on floor 3, and the Lo Temple on floor 5.
no, bombing the openings are the only ways to get there, there are 5 bomb spots and only 2 bombs in game per run so its not something you can get to without going to NG+ or cheating. The 2nd bomb is used to get special end game equipment so its not advised to use it somewhere else until you have gotten it all. Also the loot behind those openings on layer 1 isnt something special that you cant get anywhere else so dont really sweat it too much.
What are the 5 bomb spots? 2 for going into floor 2 (the main entrance and the one near the seed purification monument). 2 For the second bomb that contains "end game equipment". What's the last one?
Hes referring to the in game map name, on floor 2nd theres an underground temple area with all the traps that you have to get across to unseal one of the totem to get to layer 3.
3 bomb openings on layer 1 that all leads to layer 2. Another 2 inside oz chapel to get the end game equipments.
