Yeah the original was a very solid castlevania with great pixel art and a dark setting.
His newer games feel floaty, the art looks cheap, and the games feel far less dark.

Sinisistar look and feel more like successors to Unholy Sanctuary than Unholy Creation's games.

*Edit: Also Vampire's Knight is one to check out

Rough google translation:
- A new quest, "Rescue the Town Girl," has been added.
- "Rogue" has been added.
- Two types of traps have been added.
- When a trap is activated, an "!!" will now appear above your head.
- You can now dash in the direction of travel by teleporting while moving left or right.
- The cooldown time after teleporting has been reduced. (This allows for more consecutive teleports than before.)
- A bug has been fixed since the 2025.06.25 version where the judgment remained the standing state when crouching.
- Quest completion status is no longer reset when continuing.
(For example, when collecting herbs, even if you run out of energy midway through, you will still have the herbs you collected.)

I don't know if it's the shading or what, but the art has a very "amateur early 2000s deviantART" aesthetic. Which would be pleasantly nostalgic if I wasn't here to get off.

for now the game is super short and not good at all, even without extra items it is easy and not engaging. Art and animatons are okay. I wish they would give some kind of message like "wait for update" or something, because i redid last two mission twice thinking game glitched and does not progress.
