This often surpasses even custom mods if you're willing to learn how to search for key variables and what to do with them.
I use URM primarily to:
- Make the right choices in menus.
- See what some variables do and tweak them.
- Most importantly, go through all branched paths in a single playthrough. While some custom mods do allow this branch traversing by adding a menu choice such as "Mod: All", I can use URM to do this in just about any Ren'Py game by simply jumping to labels. Yes, I sometimes have to tinker with some variables as well to make this work, but such cases are kinda rare and it ain't really difficult even then.
