Did a quick test right now, using Season 2 version 0.15 of the game and the latest URM, and I don't get any errors at all and URM seems to work perfectly fine.

What are you trying to do when you get the error? Is it right at the start, and the game doesn't even start, or if you're trying to do something specific within URM?

What are you trying to do when you get the error? Is it right at the start, and the game doesn't even start, or if you're trying to do something specific within URM?

In season 1, pretty much from the beginning, even if I start the game without URM and add it later, the error appears at every choice moment.

I see. If you unpack ("unren") URM after placing it in the game subdirectory, it'll work.

Because I've tested "Desert Stalker", "By Justice Or Mercy" and "Eternum", and they seem to work just fine with URM. So unless you tell us what issues you're having, we can't help.

how to unpack URM ? I always used it just by placing that file in game folder.
For now worked in lot of games.

If it works, there's no need to unpack URM. If the solution to make URM work is to unpack it though, I've already given you a clue: "unren". You'll figure it out ;-)

Bug report

• URM version 2.6.2
• University of Problems v1.7.5
• Game just hangs perpetually if you access the Diary icon in the top right corner in-game->Extra->Click one of the scenes
• The aforementioned issue is resolved when URM .rpa and .urm files are removed from the game

ok the problem is the textbox it doesn’t work on the games I’ve mentioned before I can go to a different character name that’s listed and change that color and the outline of the text but when I go to the main character its missing there is no Mc or player or name I chose in the list names but every other other character name is listed
And the way to the Mc color or outline is to use the option any which is default sorry if this doesn’t when I get home I screenshot it for a better context

I never had problem with this mod but lately I can't get alt+m to work on any game I've tried. There must be a bug.
EDIT: It was fucking nvidia's fucking overlay fucking with the mod. Any way to change the shortcut from alt+m?

- For NVIDIA: Yes. Press ALT+Z to open the Overlay, then go into Settings and change the keyboard shortcuts (btw: none of the default shortcuts is using ALT+M).

- For URM: no, you can't change the shortcut.

Question about Summertime Saga. The name change didn't work last time I tried it but recently I decided to start over from the beginning and there is a custom MC name entry at the beginning.

With this in mind shouldn't the mod work to change it later in the game? I'm not real familiar with RenPy other than some script editing here and there, just found this odd and one of the only times I can recall not being able to change the MCs name.

You can, but it's a bit tricky. First I searched for the value and the default name ("Anon"), and didn't find anything. Then I searched for a variable name called "anon" and found this, whick looks promising:

If you check its content, you'll see it also has a property called ".name":

But it doesn't contain MC's name, instead it refers to a different variable. If you then search for that new variable ("saga"), and click all the way to saga --> cast --> anon, you finally will find a way to change MC's name:

"Remember" this variable as "MC's name", and you can easily change it anytime without doing all those searches again.

Sorry, if my previous reply wasn't clear enough:

• In NVIDIA: no, it's not hard-coded, and yes, you can change it.
• In URM: yes, it is hard-coded, and therefore can't be changed.
