This is Griff of Dark Griffin Games. We still have had no word from Sancho since Hurricane Beryl hit south Texas at the end of June/begining of July. It is currently unknown what happened to him.
Many people lost homes and posessions and at least 36 were killed in association with that storm. It is my sincere hope that Sancho will still turn up and let us know that he's ok.
Unfortunantly, it is appearing more and more likely that he may not return prior to the next release. If that happens, you don't have to start the game all over again due to having used the mod. Simply get the SaveFixer found on the first page of this thread and use it to restore your saves to an unmodded version.
It seriously pains me to be typing this right now. Not a single version of UC8 has come out without a Sancho mod to accompany it. I truly learned a lot from working with him. I miss him and I check for him every time I log on to F95. I hope to see him on here again someday and know that he is well.
He was more than just a fellow Texan to me. I considered him a friend and mentor.
Sancho, I wish you the best and hope to hear from you again very soon! If you ever make it to the panhandle I'll have a Shiner waiting for you... unless you'd prefer a Corona!
