I just played through the most recent update and a lot of the dialog was nearly unreadable. Not sure if this game is translated to English or they simply forgot to proofread it before releasing it but it was pretty bad at times. I don't remember dialog problems with previous updates, just this one.
I gathered from other things I've seen and read that the Dev's first language isn't English, so while a lot of it is good, some of the nuance is lost and things might be said clumsily or using a synonym a native speaker might not choose in a particular situation. A little of it does become nearly unreadable, but not nearly as bad as some games I've seen. There's one I ran across ("Trapped", I think) that seems like it was written in one language and run through Google translator to convert it to English - absolutely awful.
With this one, I think the more recent work may have suffered a little from trying to meet a deadline, but having a greatly expanded set of dialogue options based on the cumulative effect of choices earlier in the game. The more branching, the more there is to write, but people want the newest episodes to be at least as long as the earlier episodes, and delivered in the same amount of time, even though you may have four or five times the dialogue options in the new episode. Even though I understand that likelihood, I'm still apt to be annoyed and bitch a little if there are too many weird phrases.
