I'm also having this issue. 1.5.5 Extended is not loading at all for me.

Are you getting an error message? Did you use a mod previously which is no longer being used? The only issue I've seen people have with it not loading is because they used the SanchoMod that is no longer updated. The error message has a bunch of "OOO000OO0OO" type stuff in it, which is the marker that denotes it as Sancho's work. If that's your issue, you can either start from scratch with a fresh save, or you need to get the save fixer from the mod thread's OP and put that in the folder of every update going forward.

I'm not getting any error message as nothing happens when I click on the application (even as Administrator.) I started fresh with no mod and also with MurrayMods mod. I realise the saves in the AppData Roaming folder might be interfering as they had Sancho's mod so I deleted those and restarted my PC. Still nothing. Nothing happens when I try to launch the game.

If anyone is having trouble loading saves from the previous updates and u used a mod, then just use Sancho's save fixer. Works like a charm...
