the time before the enemy hits you are wild man. when your cursor is over the options to block but the game doesn't realize it, so you have to move it out just to move it in gets you hit do something with the time or something man.

I assume to prevent save cheating during the fight you added some protection that doesn't clear once the fight is over.

Worst is that the options switch places at random, this might be the WORST battle in a renpy game so far. even on easy its about if you are lucky or not.
ye i give up, after ten tries.
the difficulty settings only modifies the damage taken. nothing to do with the enemy health. If you are talking about difficulty of battle in general then; I can beat all three of the battle in the game without receiving any hit. also this is only 0.1 of the game. and one of the reason we posted it here is to get player feedback. we might adjust the game in the next version.
Even when I consistently click the block (her right hip) I still lose, no time to really read or choose options, and yes, the Dev can win. Some of us are old and have degeneration.
worst fighting minigame even its easy its hard it dont give the time where dodge choice time limite its to short
i next hope post got skip choice that fighting minigame is trash it not even fun played i played turn base but this is the worst turn base game ever

One of the worst combat mechanics i have seen by far, if not fixed soon the reviews are gonna be salty.
Possible fix (suggestion) : (all it needs is to not "auto skip" or at least slow down the text just before the timing circle appears during combat. Just one fix and i think everyone will appreciate the game.)
For now its literally unplayable for me.

The fighting minigame is waaaaay too difficult even at the easy setting. You have under a single second to react, and you're supposed to predict the type of attack based on the previous rendering? The location of the buttons switches randomly and we're expected to read both options in under a second - riiiight. And I can't even save in the middle of a battle to increase my chances, every time I get a move right just by pure dumb luck? In its current state, it's just not worth it.

So, I was able to defeat Luke, but that was only after slowing down the text speed in the settings so that I'd have time to see the warning about what Luke's next attack would be. Since the timing given to choose a prompt goes by very fast, that just barely gave me enough of an advantage to defeat him.
Edit: OMFG there's another fight right after Luke's, where you fight him and his henchmen....
PLUS you can't save between fights, so if you loose, you go aaaaall the way back to the very first fight.
