IRRC there was no real world to return to, the human race was already extinct, just an AI running itself on a human-free Earth (and probably what caused the extinction to start with). Unless the AI can also time travel to the past that can't be fixed as far as the real world goes, hence the simulated world (which is for intents and purposes is better than the real thing if all 5 senses can be fooled).

Well yeah, but as far as impossible time travel and the matrix are not that far apart, they could bridge the gap of possibility by saying it just sends his memories back in time to his old body.

I'm trying to understand the rationale of essentially downgrading the players' experiences in nearly every aspect, while also creating MUCH more work for yourself.

I don't know but it's the same affliction that affected the Tame It devs

pros: easy to swap in different costumes for the characters
cons: have to rewrite the whole game in a 3d engine and model it and texture it and animate it and level design it and have it not burn down anyone's computer

I just put in a brand new DUEL 3060TI and it ran terribly, I don't know if its my GPU or the game.

SLI was being phased out with the 30 series cards. Its only supported on certain applications. In games you still basically only using one card. 20 series was the last time SLI was a thing in gaming.

This is actually a well known paradox and thought exercise. It is litteraly impossible for anyone to prove that the world we live in and us, as individuals, aren't part of a simulation, and that our reality is truely "real".

The game does need a lot of work but I understand this is just a tech demo that still needs a lot of engine work (performance, ultrawide snaps to perky boobs and not the face, etc) [Ran on RTX 4090, Ryzen 9 5950X, 32 GB, NVMe, Win11]. Its neat being able to walk around and see the middle class neighborhood and inside the house but it seems like the dev would need a team of people to even finish the engine work let alone fill the game with content. So I'm not sure if its the best thing to do with a full Lust Theory 3 project instead of just using the Ren'py engine again.

hell nah i liked the original why in the hell go messing with the original you know the saying "if it aint broke don't fix it" so why you go and remake it and in unreal engine ? i mean my PC is old but not that old but still struggles from time to time to do certain Ren'Py games lets alone trying this be be even worse for it . thanks but no thanks wasn't a need to remake it to start with the original was fine at least for me it was .

Well, they did finish Shackbang at least, mainly due to it being rather small and only 2 halves rather than multi-year project. Inside Jennifer too but not a fan of NTR so never noticed until now.

devs i took a look into it.. and this is the worst u could have done after all.. even an rpg engine would have done a better job thatn this waste of time with unreal engine 5.
there is no way u can handle so far this engine, it almost blew up my grafik card while the FPS skyrocket to 500 in menue. so for god sake at everyone dont try it ...
the grafik hurts in the eyes because its full of motion blur . its far worse than any racing game at all .. not even shift 2 was like this ..
this devs cant handle the propper usage of the unreal engine 5. nor the memory managment its needed to do so.not they have the correct tools to do so .

go back to renpy and stick with renpy for porn games its the best u can do ...

Wait, so is this a super heavy game just to have Power Point, ahem, Renpy sex scenes type? I saw the trailer on Youtube, looks so senless, in many ways looks like a 1st person walking simulator. The ones who make the games gotta understand people play them for a quick fap or build up with teasing and progressively hotter sex scenes. I don't want to grind or walk "searching" for sex, unless the stuff given is straight forward and simple or fun with good sex in-between (like Lustland). Also, running around just to have a stiff sex scene would be quite jarring.

What a great idea, now instead of a few static renders and maybe an animation per scene they'll need to script/animate the entire thing.

As we know, nothing enhances a porn game like manually walking from room to room in search of content.

It can be good, if for example YOUR character is super hot and the game has a lot of teasing or the sex is quickly available, like in Lustland (walking around with her, seeing her ass and boobs bouncing is entertaining at least) or this Deluded game, which resulted in sort of a failure, but the concept is there and is very good, that's what other nsfw games must follow.

I downloaded the game, my laptop has the requirements to play the game, there were no issues in extracting it but once i open the application, it loads and then just goes to a black screen after the Inceton Games logo appears and then nothing happens, can someone please help me?

1. First they abandoned the original to do a remake
2. They make a lot of bad changes that even the people who support them don't like
3. They ended up not finishing the remake
4. Now they're making the same game but in 3D even though they haven't finished the original or the remake

No one should support this shit, they make idiots out of people who support them

I doubt the open world will improve a sex game in any way. I love Lust Theory (Echoes of Lust), that's why walking around in MCs house or at the party or at school will feel nostalgic, but apart from that I think this is stupid.
