why can't one single creator go the route of Telltale or something? no it just has to be open world garbage that looks like shit, runs like shit and has the game mechanics that feels like complete shit.

This is such a bad idea. Only rigs with great gaming gear can play it. This seems more like a dev's tech wet dream experiment rather than any meaningful content creation. As if sandbox was annoying enough, now we get to be extra grind friendly through a 3d animated world. Awesome.

Time would have been better spent on working on the existing games they already have on the table. Priorities are all wrong with this dev team.

There's a difference between a game being demanding, but well optimized (that it doesn't stutter or has random fps drops) and a heavy game that is a mess and badly optimized. And even then, a really good game that's not too optimized can be forgiven and you can play it anyway because that pros take over the cons of technical flaws. Yeah, RDR2 is super demanding, as is modded Witcher 3, Elden Ring, FF7: Remake and so many more, but people mainly play them to have fun and feel entertained, also these games are complex, require grinding and strategy, these are not game for sexual pleasure, but to feel immersed. Also, most nsfw games are badly optimized anyway, so they gotta be good enough to keep you hooked, walking around in a sex game in 1st person is just jarring.

Ok, now we got that out of the way, all sex/porn games should be simple, easy and to the point, walking around in these games and "looking" for sex is stupid and pointless, nsfw games shouldn't have "puzzles" to get what you downloaded the game for lol.

Just watching porn can be so boring at times and sex games offer a refreshment over that and some interaction or where you control the scenes. Prob not abandoned, just delayed due to this turd that should have never happened (if anything this is what will get abandoned). I got into pre-rendered Renpy AVNs to begin with to avoid needing a $1000-$1500 video card to play it. And it sounds like it would still play like shit on even a 4090.

That sucks! That is what I like about Renpy game - no need for a powerful laptop/desktop.

I guess, we have to wait to see.

Red Dead Redemption 1 is 7GB. That is an massive open world filled with content to the brim with an really good crafted story and dialogue with MP support.

Now lets compare that to this game? 7GB of walking around and doing nothing else. other than re-doing an story already told trough Renpy.

God damn. Sheesh yeah, This "game" totally needs to be 7GB's and not 100MB like it should be.

Well, I played this demo. Here are my impressions.
For reference I play on a 3060 and it plays quite well.
1)No facial animations. Characters don't move their lips, they just stay silent and look at you like puppets. Probably in future versions they will add facial animations.
2)The sex scenes are basically well done, but I was still falling through textures when switching cameras.
3)There will most likely be an open world concept like in modern games. Ellie gives you a task to find some item, you bring it to her and she gives you a reward. The fact that the game has a gym probably hints at the fact that the player will have to pump stats to level up to access some quest line.
4)The game is poorly optimized. Very strong blurring when moving.
5)Only two sex scenes are available so far. A sex scene with Megan (riding on top and missionary position) and a sex scene with Ellie (doggy sex and riding on top from behind). There is also some sort of closed house that the map points to, but it's closed and I couldn't get into it. Probably need to find some kind of key to open it, but I couldn't find it.

I've just tested this, and I'm not going to talk about the performance because I think everything has been said already on the first 6-7 pages of this thread

Just a couple quick questions about the content:

• the "Ellie" quests never gets completed although I did all the tasks -- is this a common bug for everyone else, too?
• the in-game "Update Notes" saying "You can unlock more downloadable wallpapers in gallery" -- does anybody know how?
• is there a way to "Save" your progress so you don't have to start from the very beginning each time you go back to the menu?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

The original had the worst ending ever, they should have just changed it and added more scenes (like Megan and Jessica threesome) and etc. This unreal engine version seems redundant for now.

You can't do any of them since there is no content in the game. Treat it as a demo. Also, even though they said they will release updates every month, instead come back every 6 months so you don't get disappointed.

You can't ... unlock pictures because there is no function for that yet lmao.

That's quite the opposite of what's in the Change log, as I mentioned in my question. So it's probably a bug. So don't tell me "there's no function" if the dev has explicitly mentioned it as a feature for this version.

And not being able to finish Ellie's quest is most likely a bug as well, as the other quest I were able to finish.

If you aren't open to suggestions or opinions because they don't agree to you or if you feel hurt then why bother asking questions in the first place.

If I wanted your opinion, I'd have asked for it. But I didn't. I asked three very specific questions, and to answer any of them no personal opinions were needed.

Why not just do what you have always done with RenPy but using UE for the graphics instead of DAZ3D? A story heavy game doesn't need to be a 3rd person open world game.

Another developer who is chasing new technologies, in the end, in order to get a minimally adequate picture, you need to turn on global illumination on high or ultra, as a result of which the game turns into a slideshow. On my 3060 I got about 20-40 frames.

I dropped the previous version because of the fact that the MC managed to fuck up every time even knowing the outcome.
