No I meant there are older versions locked to certain renpy engines.
Here download this and keep it safe, this is my copy, you just need trial and error there is only 4 versions.

I have used UnRen-1.0.11d to unpack Corruption. I want to edit the script (not the game code - the actual words used by the characters. Clean them up and such.). I'm really lost - I've looked for instructions on various pages and can't find how to proceed, because I'm no techy. Can anyone help? Thanks! (Also, of course, I'd really appreciate basic instructions about how to save those changes down so that they apply, without breaking the game).
I assume you successfully unpacked the .rpa files but you haven't decompiled the .rpyc scripts back into their .rpy source files.
Download un.rpy and drop it in the folder named "game", then go up one folder, run the .exe and after the game loads the scripts should be decompiled.

Yeah I had to use that tool also.. hope the developer can fix this tool for it.
No it's a language error says it can not extract file <name>-???.mp3 so it can't figure out what the 3 characters are and fails to extract. Forget exact name but it had a -??? in it.

Use my version of Unren-forall.bat, check my signature. I have integrated the latest unrpyc and rpatool and does not have multiprocessing problem with any Ren'Py version.
I tried using it for https://f95zone.to/threads/echoes-of-mythria-v0-37-hotfix-zesty.220520/ but here's the error I get:

This is because the dev have modified the python shipped with the game.
This cannot be solved by modifying the batch. My next version will be in pure python.
For now, use rpaExtract, sorry.

Mine are in 9.6.
Where can I find version 9.6? I could find only 9.5. Can you give the link to version 9.6 or the file?

It doesn't help. When it decompiles the files rpyc, nothing changes(doesn't create files rpy).
