Some devs do something to prevent players to use the dev mode. Others have a none standard config in their game and the way "unren" activates the mode, doesn't work with it and you need to do it in some special way.im getting this error if i use unren to enable console and developer menu.
Thanks for your reply. Looks like i will need to manually enable console through 00console.rpy. And then i can type in 'config.developer = True'Some devs do something to prevent players to use the dev mode. Others have a none standard config in their game and the way "unren" activates the mode, doesn't work with it and you need to do it in some special way.Means some modder needs to do this by hand for you folks.
Greets
This version you use was made by some user... and he did not say whats different or what he did. So its your decision if you use it. After i looked at the code of this, it was clear something is wrong in there. There is too much base64 embed code in there for the two usual tools unren uses. Im on linux so i cannot test this now.Is there a new version released with updates?
There are some new games in this version that cannot be opened and always prompt.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS GREAT TOOL!
I had originally created this script for myself, but I've decided to clean it up a bit and release it for everyone. You can extract RPA archives (using built inYou must be registered to see the links), decompile RPYC files (using built inYou must be registered to see the links), enable the console and developer menu for Ren'Py games and more. The intent of this tool is to remain a simple, no-nonsense utility for accessing Ren'Py game content, current and past.
No dependencies, no internet connection required. You can right click->edit to see the source! Works on Windows 7, 8 and 10, but XP and Vista can be supported too (see "Known Issues" section.)
There are other tools which do similar things, for your consideration:

The weird thing is there is none in the folders, there is a & though.Don't put a ‘ in the tree structure...

Exactly. For batch/command scripts stick to numbers, letters, minus, underline chars fro your path. Nothing else. Or experience some cannot find "yadda", wäh wäh "something is wrong" messages from you sys....there is a & though... after removing the & it worked
Oh, i didn't know about this new feature. Not so sure about the claim of smartness for this thing. Has this in the wild at least some ease to use and proofed usefulness?microsoft Smart app block bat files

Ahh One more reason to avoid Windows Eleven....first they require you to have an account on their servers continuously (better to monitor you) and now they make batch files obsolete....no setting up an automatic 'shut them off' program of your own....it's masked security app from windows eleven
