1) Windows 7 is no longer supported by almost anyone, so why would you want UnRen to support it...
If you make a poll here, on f95 overall i mean, you will see there are more people on pre win10 as you would expect. Don't ask me, i also don't understand it, but is guess there are even reasons that make sense.1) Windows 7 is no longer supported by almost anyone, so why would you want UnRen to support it...
Too late, it's already been done in the next version. If you make a poll here, on f95 overall i mean, you will see there are more people on pre win10 as you would expect. Don't ask me, i also don't understand it, but is guess there are even reasons that make sense.
For that circumstance, i would advice to make a test for ANSI support and deactivate colors then if not supported. Otherwise the output will be unreadable, with all the escape sequences printed out like in the shot above.
Just my POV on this. Greets

Nope, its not new. Its since years a issue with bat/cmd script language and we had with UnRen our share of them. Just stick with dots, minus and underline chars on top of alphnumeric and you have never problems,.Update: After some tinkering, it seems the new UnRen doesn't like apostrophes in folder names...
All files can be extracted from *.rpa files and decrypted from *.rpyc with the actual version of my script.joelurmel I recently ran into an issue with summertime saga, that the renpy config files are also encrypted, as is the save file. Any chance that at least the renpy config files could be unencrypted using your script?
I just tried with the same game version, and the latest unren script, but files like \renpy\savetoken.pyc aren't decrypted. All files can be extracted from *.rpa files and decrypted from *.rpyc with the actual version of my script.
Tested with summertimesaga-21.0.0-wip.6155-pc.
This is because it's a compiled Python script.I just tried with the same game version, and the latest unren script, but files like \renpy\savetoken.pyc aren't decrypted.

decrypted from *.rpyc
For now. The decompiler tools, generally lag just a bit behind the development progress of programming languages. (see unrpyc... wink wink)it's impossible to decompile Python files compiled with version >= 3.12.

You need to check with the person who created it or the associated thread. Someone will be able to answer you, but not in this thread, which is dedicated to the Windows version.i found the .sh version but how do i use it thank you

Even if I change the extension and decompile it as rpa, it doesn't generate rpy.
I've already tried with un.rpy v2.02.
And also with the latest unrenforall.
It says it's renpy 8.1.3.
