Off the top of my head, the only advice I can give you is to remove the space in the name of the “Game Temp” folder.
Change it to “GameTemp.”
Try it and let me know how it goes.

Thanks but rename Game Temp to GameTemp doen't help.

I don't have any problems with spaces or accented characters. This is a bug that hasn't been fixed yet.

A temporary solution is to start the legacy or current version directly, depending on your version of Ren'Py.

I'll post an update soon.

I found the cause of the problem, which is not due to my code, but to f95, which now displays a warning about viruses and requires an interactive response to confirm that you agree to download it.

So I have to find another solution for storing the archive or give up on automatic updates...

Failed to update using forall version, I checked the short link for update and it's disabled or unavailable.
So i use current or legacy for now.

I tested for a change in my W10(dual boot cfg) with your unren (current) and had some errors in output. It output it in my native lang, so see if you can manage, if not, i can translate the two messages to EN. See attachment with the terminal output copy.

I've made this scripts with <3 for you and to simplify the management of your favorite games.

You have now a multilingual (de, en, es, fr, it, ru) launcher batch (UnRen-forall.bat) Version 0.14
a legacy batch (UnRen-legacy.bat) Version 9.6.43 for Ren'Py <= 7
and a current batch (UnRen-current.bat) Version 9.6.57 for Ren'Py >= 8

The launcher was initially designed to launch the correct batch depending on the Ren'Py version .
Then I realized that it would be useful to add options that do not depend on Ren'Py.
As I continued coding, additional ideas led me to add multilingual support and new independent features.

Please read the Installation section, which contains important information.

Launcher updated to version 0.28.
No more [VIRUS] warning from f95zone.to. Archive is now located on Google Drive.
No more URL shortener, file UnRen-link.txt is now downloaded from Github.
No more failed update and exit, it continue with the actual files.
You can now choose to do auto-update or not.

For the last time (I hope), you have to update manually all files and for the next update it should work properly.

This is really strange, because there is no multilingual function in legacy and current batch.
I think it's just a missing redirection to nul.
I have created a repo on GitHub, but there is only UnRen-link.txt & UnRen-forall.bat for now until each 3 files will be cleaned.

Options 3 through 6 have been moved to a, c, e, and f.

When the UnRen-current script is complete, you can customize the all-in-one execution by downloading the UnRen-cfg file and modifying the MDEFS variable to execute 12acef, which corresponds to the old option 9, and selecting m.

The default value will be inherited from the MDEFS variable, and you will just need to press Enter.

Nowadays, that doesn't happen anymore, maybe because of the more advanced versions of the latest SDK releases. Version 8.4.1 is proof of that. Man, I'm really grateful for your effort and dedication, but I must be having issues with my operating system, since I tried using your tool through both CMD and PowerShell and had no luck. Anyway, thanks
