...oh my. And here I thought I had a tendency to make long posts.
@qwerfgh, a word of advice: while your enthusiasm for this new game project is seemingly admirable... you've essentially written two very long posts where you're just telling the dev to put extremely-specific-to-your-tastes scenarios/fetish/content under the guise of mere suggestions. (In fact, this is something you've done in previous threads, going off your post history.)
Don't do that. It can be fine to post something like "I think it'd be hot if this character had a scene like this, because scenes like this are already in the game for other characters." It's generally not fine to post something that essentially boils down to "please put my extremely specific fetish content in this game (even if it might not fit the game), because it already has a fetish that's somewhat-related but way more mild." Even worse when you do that multiple times in a row without having any feedback from the dev on what they're interested in, or what could even get into the game.
I believe that developer, along with other developers, is intelligent enough to make its own decisions.
If it find anything I mention of use, then it'll use it.
Also if it sees a popularity drop or gets stuck and this can happen any developer, then it got scenarios to fall back to and doesn't have to research and ask around at the same scale. You might not know, but many developers, don't always have their entire game planned out in exact detail. I'm not going to be the only one suggesting things, the developer will likely later get a chat-channel or places where it gather people of interest and they'll reply with feedback when asked and also come with suggestions. Many developers, got a team, friends, patrons, along with ordinary forum users and others who they ask for suggestions and feedback. But you're saying that this is wrong, because it doesn't align with your fetish or strange fanatical fan-religion where developers magically have all the answers in their head and are perfect.
Wouldn't it be better that you monitor all new threads of your liking and make sure to post early, that other forum users aren't allow to suggest things outside of your preference? This is a forum and we discuss mixed topics here, both positive, negative and suggestions/feedback.
When you develop something, it's very good to make plans long before you're to implement them.
This create the possibility, to have a better red-thread in the game and if you got suggestions from users in a list, then you might have thought them over long before and have a good image of what you could implement when the game is beginning to become lacking, which happens in developments.
If users are only allowed to post in regard to what already is in the game, then that's just completely idiotic, it's way harder to change development in middle of development compared to early. To change something early, you need suggestion early and it creates a better flow in the game, instead of content being changed with the flip of a finger. What you're suggesting as well, is that we only give feedback after the content is available, this the dumbest thing you could suggest.
Now, when the developer have a plan and have created a story, material and possible prepared a team for specific content, then it's costly in both time and possible money to REDO or suddenly stop to branch the story differently, what if you're to pay artists but have to change content in the middle? You're more or less telling the developer to scratch their progress, stop working and re-think the game in the middle of development. This is worst-case scenario feedback, the worst one you can give, even if it's necessary at times.
When giving feedback on a scene from your wording/view, you create issues with your argument.
You sort of expect that the developer barely know what to do next and gladly makes the change, like that developer would do bit by bit.
Many developers plan far ahead, some know what content to have until the very end. Those who do, can create good flows in games, these often prefer to get a lot of suggestions at the start, instead of the the middle or end.
When I suggest thing, I do it mainly out of my own fetishes and I got a lot of fetishes and I have never denied this.
Some idiots however paint up the worse part of a fetish and more less says that I seek the worst possible parts of a fetish. When it comes to Futa, you in reality, would have to clean your ass, to avoid smell, shit stains and infections and should always use protection and not take a shit stained dick in the mouth. In Futa games, there can be very large dicks. When you force yourself to vomit, you stick fingers in your throat, a long large dick would make anyone vomit and die if the dick got erected. We don't see these parts in Futa games because that's extreme, a very large dick against an untrained asshole, more or less breaks it and it starts to bleed. Why I write this, is because this is your way of thinking when someone suggest a fetish that you don't agree with or that change your preferences.
What I suggest is in many cases not close to extreme and I suggest many things, but you just voids all of them because you likely see me as an enemy, because I suggest wrong fetishes. You take different levels of different fetishes to create a quality game, you don't create a single fetish with basic vanilla, as it often becomes a very lacking game.
In this case, I mentioned a lot of scenarios, not based on a single fetish, but many.
Sometimes I suggest scenarios outside of my own fetishes, but that's more rare.
Do you really think that I would provide feedback for a game (unless asked), that is completely uninteresting for me and that doesn't align with my fetishes? Why would I waste time with that?
If I suggest something, then why wouldn't it be from what I would prefer?
I'm not responsible for what others prefer and I don't care.
If others have suggestions, then they can suggest to, or am I the only one who got intelligence to do so?
If the developer is or looks to be stuck, then I MIGHT suggest some scenarios outside my fetishes.
Sometimes when I am in a discussion with a developer, I can suggest fetishes not of my preference and how different routes can be developer due to that I sometimes try to help or be nice.
Some of my fetishes might fall in the extreme category, but then futa is too and by your logic, the developer must undo the futa element.
You often have to mix different fetishes to create good content, you don't just have one fetish. Many fetish-fanatics, often take the worst of the worst from a certain fetish that they don't like into their imagination. Let say that some pain is introduced, it could be mild, mid or harsh, which sometimes flavor the story, that doesn't mean that it require content where limbs are chopped off. Sometimes you can create a scenario of horror, but you don't need extreme images to the story and you could have mild images or with images coming from later scenes without the horror element. Otherwise it's like an action or horror movie without blood.
When you create a long game, you must always escalate, otherwise you're better of with a short game, preferable with a very red thread. So it's important to to not begin with stage 5-8 on stage 1, players always expects more, not less. So the more players play, the more they expect and this requires way more than softcore vanilla. Vanilla games are incredible hard to succeed at, due to that they're common and the competition is harder, in short competition for players and funds.
If the game content becomes to similar and starts to feel repeating, then you can lost a lot of players fast.
When players stops playing every update (can often happen if content is lacking or there're, many updates with little content), then it can become likely, that a lot of players stops playing the updates for very long time. This is were a lot of players drop the game and they might not be back at all. This is dangerous for developers as developers want people to talk about their game, which creates activity and allow the game to easier spread to new players.
A game thread with 2 pages, won't in general be as popular as one with 50-100 pages+.
This has the ability to bring in more new players and hopefully paying players, this allows for more possibilities and helps the developer economically.
So what you're doing, is to limit the possibilities for the developers of games that you religiously defend, which the developers most likely doesn't want from you.
I got a life outside of porn, so I'm not going to start up a conversation with every developer I want to suggest something to, to understand their fetishes and their limits. I don't have that time, if you lack a life to keep you busy, then you're free to do so. So if I give feedback, then I'm going to write a lot at one point and hopefully not have to do so afterwards. In this case, I did get a reply from the developer and I replied to the developer again and then that as the end with me wishing the developer good luck.
When you told the developer to ignore the none-futa contant, because that was a minority, you did so because you were not interested in it, you did more or less the exact same thing like I did, you made a suggestion and your preference on the developer and made your point heard. You might have not told the developer off completely, but you were hinting at it. So your issue with me, is that you don't agree with fetishes that I suggest.
On regard to None-futa, I believe that this content could bring a lot of players to this game, but it would be easier to have a warning before the scene instead of every player having two installation for two different routes, which require different writing-content for two routes, or that you could get a note like a warning for which kind of writing the content belonged to. But this depends of what the developer feels that it can pull off, as it'll be extra work. I'm fine with both cases.
All content I suggested, fits in the game.
You can easily create scenarios where this content work, it's childsplay to write the grounds for much of it (at least for me, but I have played a lot of games and can see far away), even if it at parts of the game, changes original plans of the developer. You could even make NTR work here, with enemy bosses capturing the MC's allies and making them theirs, it's very easy to introduce. But this is up to the developer, I haven't made the decisions for the developer, I made suggestions, just like you did, because you couldn't care less about none-futa element.
You likely stumbled on me in the Milk University thread, I remember whining from a lot of futa-fanatics and I believe that you have posted there before as it feels very familiar and that's from where you have issues with me. You didn't just check my post history, you remember my long posts from that thread and you likely even replied there under another name, posted there or deleted the posts. However, I have done you the favor of writing something similar again.
I accept your suggestions in threads, so you must accept me and others.
If you can't accept other people opinions/suggestions, then it's better to remain silent.
If you don't read this post, then don't bother to reply or talk with me again, it saves time for us both.
You could have made suggestions, without mentioning me or commenting about anything I said.
And if you still want to whine regarding my suggestions, then you can send me a message personally and we can discuss it there, that goes for everyone else too. However, if posts are made public, then I'll reply in public.
Sorry for writing such a long post in this thread
Aetheras, I obviously have a history with this other user.
The issue is that if I don't reply, then I get a to hear this from this user specifically in every futa game that I make suggestions in. If I make a short post, then it would continue for days, a long post cover most points and saves me time, otherwise this user and along with other futa-fanatics would gang up on me endlessly and it was extreme when it came to the Futa genre.
If some other people can talk about more positive things, it would improve the mood for others here, the user in question will get a notice of this reply, so it doesn't have to be visible for others.
Or just make some random posts.
