Games like this would benefit from a LLM being utilized to help flesh out characters and interactions. And would allow the user to more freely interact with the world here. Would help expand upon the concept of a true sandbox.
You could even set up a lore book or diary for the AI to use for certain things to remember after chatting with a character. Sadly due to the engine being taxing on mid-range GPU. The GPU and then it having to load a LLM on its already limited VRAM would be too much. Maybe a service using Novel AI, Kobold, Llama, etc with an API key being needed could be implemented. Would really add the depth sandboxes like these need once you've cycled the animation poses etc. Plus if more games offer using a host API key service it could be used across multiple games who'd ultize it, justifying the monthly cost of having that API key. Just food for thought tho.
