1/ It would be useful if it was a sanbox game with a wardrobe functionality.

2/ You just need to make sure there's enough text (I remember some images with only a short sentence next them).

3/ As for names, I can't help since I don't self insert. I just need to know the relationships between characters.
Hi!

1/ I read that this is a way to get money from players. Is that true?

2/ I am mindful of that comment of yours. That's why I changed the technology. First, the text will be written and edited, then the text is formatted in Renpy. At the end is the rendering for that piece of text.

3/ Oh crap, I forgot about that. Seems like it wouldn't be complicated. Thanks for reminding me.

I've decided that I'm not going to change the design style of the novella just yet. I'll keep the old interface, just added a table of contents for a quick jump to your favorite place.

About money, I don't know.
But if you add some kind of customization, players generally want enough diversity/variety to have fun with it and that those choices are reflected in game by other NPC particularly and maybe specific events/situations/locations, not just some flavor text.

Good continuation.

1/ introduced the ability for the player to change the name of the main characters. Changing the name and my table of contents could cause the game to crash. By some miracle I solved all the problems knowing only the basics of programming.
2/ Testing on a 10 inch tablet: had to increase the font size.
3/ On my phone, the text looks creepy. I'll start fixing it tomorrow.

Ready mentally to do another novella build for the phone screen.
Installed Google's Android emulator (for PC), but it wouldn't start. Emulator in Renpy works, but darkens part of the window. I'll try to solve this in the developers thread.

Just finished the Renpy interface for small phone and tablet screens. Made a full screen text box to increase the font size. The picture to the text is opened by clicking on the “show image” button.
Now I have interface options: for computer and large tablet, for phone and small tablet.

The table of contents works almost the way I want it to. I'll make a request to the programmers if it's possible to do two actions on one action: select a chapter and hide the table of contents.
Next I have to start writing the text of the novella. I think I'm on the “main road”.

I have to refocus my head on creativity.

Fixed a lot of bugs in the interface for the small screen. Studied the code for slideshow. Now you can show several pictures in one text screen. For example for this screen there are three images: back, girl's legs and screaming doctor.

Still working on the script, I don't seem to have any code issues anymore.

There are 2 questions:

1/ Is it bad form to use emoticons in text? Should we remove emoticons? What do you think?

2/ I sometimes have a lot of good renders that won't make it into the novella release. Should I give them to the readers as additional material or just delete such pictures? What are some practices for using such images?

I like emoticons, looks good. But there's something wrong with the girl's ass where pussy should be.

It's strange to see them outside phone/chat screens in games but it isn't that much a bother if you use them in dialogs.

If they are good and just doesn't fit, you should keep them. As for their use : another future game, side stories, rewards for in game achievements, bonus for Patrons or whatever you may think of.

Good continuation.

I gotta check this place out. Maybe it was excluded from the rendering to keep my mind on my work :ROFLMAO:

Saw the “Windows blue screen of death” today. Haven't seen it in years. Had to restore the system to zero point. Shit. I'll be writing the text of the novel and rebuilding my computer at the same time.
