Okay so... in combat when the enemy passes and you also pass you should get new cards right? When I get to the fight with the goblins in The Road West it doesn't do that. They pass, I pass, the button switches to "Wait" indefinitely. If I click "all cards" I am then unable to click "continue" to leave that menu. If i press ESC to get out of that menu the enemy immediately passes again and then I am unable to click the pass button. In fact, when I click on the pass button it lets me move the map instead... like I'm clicking thru the pass button. This soft-locks the game as I can't get any new cards and can't approach the enemy to attack them and thus cannot end my turn. I even tried casting sparks in a direction where it wouldn't hit my own team... but while I can select the sparks card when I go to click and actually trigger it it once again just lets me move the map. Nvm... I can use sparks... just have to use it on my own team as they are the only targets in range. Doesn't make the pass button clickable tho. I actually like the combat system (conceptually at least... not a lot of practical experience with it yet) so I'd rather not skip it.
I'd suspect a save corruption... except I just started a new playthrough (my first one to actually get past the tutorial) during the last patch. I've also deleted and re-extracted the game. So then I tried starting again from the beginning and skipping to the combat in question by holding ctrl... same problem. Different, much more powerful computer? Same problem. Manually deleted all old save and config data from AppData? Same problem.
I'm out of ideas. Obviously there is something fishy going on as the fact that these forums aren't a flood of horny tears tells me I'm the only one having the problem... but two computers? In spite of reinstalling? In spite of a starting a new game? Regardless of how performant the computer is? Both Windows 10 and 11? In spite of deleting AppData? Yeah... I dunno what else to try.
Also I noticed when you select what content you want enabled at the start... if you then press esc and go to Settings > Gameplay those content options are still unmarked. Also also, if you go into the aforementioned menu and disable combat before the combat tutorial it still forces you to do the combat tutorial... would be nice if it didn't for purposes of skipping content to try to solve bugs by restarting. Also also also, the tutorial at one point requires you to use the scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom in and out to proceed... one of my computer uses a trackpad without mouse wheel function... so i literally can't get passed the tutorial on that computer and have to do it on my main computer then transfer a save file after the combat tutorial. There also exists computers, tablets and smartphones for example, without a keyboard. Perhaps a "skip this" option for the input parts of the tutorial?

button stuck at "wait" then open all cards and use esc to exit thing and jump straight to the pass button no longer working. Yay! Progress! In the wrong direction!

I recall the previous one did, I do hope there are some, hopefully they make a change to combat, dialogue (even if just somewhat), or both. preferably more than just something for a single scene and the TF goes away or something like that. I also would like to see species change, rather than only just gender changing. I'd something more substantial, like having your class changed (like from warrior into mage, that kind of class), species changed (like human into a demon, or like a catgirl, or some other monstrous form), stuff like that I'd like to see.

It's got 2 BE scenes, a couple of F to Futa scenes, and 3 bimbofication scenes. It's all temporary. It's not the focus the game and wouldn't fit the narrative for it be permanent.
