Weekly Report


Coming August 2nd is the conclusion to the Treasure of Nadia main storyline and will feature 91 animated shots! This is the most amount of animations I've done in a single chapter and it's all in service of this epic conclusion!

Although this will mark the end of the main storyline, side quests, KS pages, pinups, "special" sex scenes, new areas, and other new content is still planned! There's plenty more coming!

Starting August 15th and running till December 2nd, Treasure of Nadia will receive new bonus content (on the same schedule) while The Genesis Order chapter 1 is finishing development. The estimated release for The Genesis Order is sometime in November although we'll be trying to have it ready as early as possible while not sacrificing a single drop of quality.

What kind of puzzles do you think will be added in the new game?

ToN's puzzles were enjoyable the first 10 times or so, but afterwards they got annoying and boring and not worth to be played anymore (bad reward system).

So, do you guys know any other good puzzles or minigames in RPGs?

For me it looks like a limitation of RPG Maker and that more could be achieved with Unity regarding puzzles/minigames.
Minigames are always annoying, they may be fun for sometime but in the end they feel like a chore.
I don't think there's any minigame that anyone actively plays and enjoys.

It's always do X to get Y, and most of the time Y isn't even worth it.
Like in ToN, we are getting PICTURES of Evie for solving all the puzzles :FacePalm:
The least NLT could've done is give us a nice vaginal sex scene:(
I don't think there is much more in this then what already has been used... but honestly interests might take a peak if the rewards for solving puzzles/games were hmmm... " better suited " for a porn game :KEK: Instead of talismans or money these should be stitched to the " so called extra/bonus content " like what's coming in the TON game... but that would also eliminate this void between 2 games so possibly would be rejected at sight ! :LOL:

I prefer RPGM than VN. RPG is more adventurous and look more like normal game. Much VN are completely linear and they seem to me like movie or book. There is no freedom, even though they have multiple ends.
Well virtual novel says it all... it is supposed to look like a movie or a book ! As long as the word " interactive game " is not REALLY defined you will have to be satisfied with either the todays AAA games on the market ( we interrupt our movie for a couple of button mash... :ROFLMAO: ) or make your piece with the idea that the GAMEplot ( :KEK: ) is written already and only on occasion you decide how it's progressing via your choices...

Either way I don't think we are there yet when games can be made of this magnitude either because of marketing issues or technical to be honest... that's another 5-10 years at least ! ;)

The final story chapter is almost here! It was a big undertaking to finish it in time, but this new chapter contains 145 new animation files! This includes a massive sex scene, a bonus profile, a new KS page and a story scene and one hell of an ending!

Coming later in the month, on August 15th will be the first extended content for Treasure of Nadia which will feature two new KS pages and a fun secret side quest that ends in a new scene for... you'll have to wait and see.

This 2nd half of the year is going to be focused heavily on finishing development of The Genesis Order assets and game engine, while aiming for a 4th quarter launch. As new assets and artwork are created, I will be sharing them in weekly reports and on Discord.

:unsure: I think he did a pretty good job in making the ladies unique, but I must say that I see the exact Nellie model used in a lot of games. Only the hair colour gets changed. I guess because the face is so good on that model, no one wants to mess it up by modifying it too much.

Overall, I think they will be fine for the game. I'm just hoping he uses differently shaped boobs/nipples for the ladies. There hasn't been that much variety in the previous games. You do have small and large class boobs, but within those classifications the boobs tended to look very similar.

The body shapes are mostly identical - even more obvious in Lust Epidemic and Treasure of Nadia. The less unique the bodies are the easier and faster it is to render animations form them, because he only needs to swap their heads instead rendering the whole scene.

That's because most games recycle the same handful of 3D models with just a change of hair, makeup, and body shape, and clothes. Some developers will customize the facial features a little more, but I'd argue that's the exception, not the norm.

Think of it like watching movies. People don't complain when the same actor appear in different movies. And there are way more actors than 3D models. So it's really unavoidable that characters in different games start to look similar.

Been all pre-rendered there's no tech reason to do it.
It would make the game more demanding in terms of resources, and potentially more complicated to test cross platform, and it wouldn't really bring any benefit to the player (most likelly actually would cut some out).
JS is a way better, easier, and more friendly language than C#.
Using JS also gives you access to all the web-technologies and HUGE (indeed right now the biggest by far) development community.
And last, but not least: he has already a strong and well tuned process around RPMG, changing the whole stack it would be very costly under a lot of aspects.
