I'm not a 4chan user myself. Also take it with a grain of salt, but I love drawing myself, I'd say I'm decent and am pretty autistic when it comes to recognizing art styles.

The art style for this one is extremely similar in anatomy and coloring style to Magica and Ariadne's, you can see that from the way he draws hands, how he tends to bend the back of Atla and certain other things.

Also, if you played their previous games', the town layouts and how "alive" they feel, kind of like an actual old school RPG is pretty damn close between Unholy Maiden (The demo at least) and Eclipse Works'.

So, we don't have "proof" but I'd bet good money on AT LEAST the artist being the same one who worked with/for Eclipse Works, this guy had the greatest comeback I've seen with how fucking good his art got and how damn good Unholy Maiden demo was as a game even without the H stuff.

Very interesting, forgive my ignorance it's been almost a decade since I played ariadne and magica so I really didn't remember, crazy how people connected the dots. Then again, if the artist is the same that is the most insane growth ever, even in these old games the art was already fantastic but this is quite something else. Either way, thank you for explaining

Another point worth mentioning is...Is this the reason they dont let anyone send msgs to them and no communication is allowed on any of their CI-EN posts? So this topic dies in some corner with fans lol

I think I remember Eclipse Works barely interacting with fans as well, might be just the mandela effect talking from my ass tho.

Would it be bad if they were recognized? I get that they want to work under a new IP presumably but eclipse works was quite a name in the eroge scene back then.

Wait, I want to use this moment to compare few more things...the curved poses on the character wherever there is an opportunity is another strong give away...the kind that i havnt seen in other artists..

I think its a decent possibility the artist for the game is the same, but I doubt its 1 to 1 the same team, or developers making this game as Eclipse Work's titles. Doubt they'd be shutting down communications between themselves and the community for that reason either even if they were the same exact set of people who made Ariadne/Magica, probably more so just a professional approach to how they handle feedback and communicate with us all, given the way they've planned out hte trial, the survey, even discussing the survey results and all as well, let alone how they've ramped up previews of the game in time leading up to the release, rather than just stringing along bit by bit as some devs do over years as soon as they have things to share, useful and intriguing or not.


If it is just the same Circle under a different name, I'd just be curious as to why they went under, then came back as another name, but I don't think its worth speculating too much on. Fun to guess if nothing else I suppose.

I was thinking of translating it through Translator++ using Sugoi V14 but it takes so much time and tried it on the demo took an hour and to think the full game has exceeded 1 million character is staggering might take days or less if you have monster GPUs. I guess I'm still off to buying Mtool subscription

There are rumors that the group disbanded at the time because of internal conflicts within the organization. Now they’ve come back under a different name, but this is only hearsay—there’s no confirmed reason.
