Pretty much, yeah. There's a LOT of hype for what's been shown. Only hope we have is that it's not just hype and it lives up to it.

There's also the anal cultists, and the fact that from translations of cien posts, the dev seems to have variety in mind+ the balance of gameplay and NSFW.

Mainly because of the art, definitely because of the art. I'm not going to lie, when I'm playing, I don't care if the game is fun or not, what matters is if the H is good, and that the game doesn't bore me with tons of text, or repetitive and nauseating game mechanics.
But this one is different, and if the creator delivers exactly what he promised, damn, this shit is going to be good.

The game has built up a lot of hype since its first announcement back in 2023~, a lot of people thought the game was dead when the developer went radio silent for like a year in 2024, so the announcement that it was still in development at the end of 2024 kinda intensified it.
Apparently the game will be a dungeon crawling one with a shitton of features to allow a complete experience, be it from the clothing system, relationships, sex stats, pregnancy, customizable origins, plenty of fetishes, and so on, as for other games from the same dev, there's no other works from Unit 03, but from the screenshots in game they have shared it certainly doesnt seem like their first rodeo, also, it seems like the game will not follow a linear story and will have branching paths and plenty freedom to experience it's features, culminating with over 20 endings from what the dev has shared.
Also, Altra is hot as fuck.
The game seems way too good to be true, but if it lives up to the hype it could snatch the #1 spot as h-game of the year easily.
y'all will be being cumming all over your rooms or basements for years to cum, I'm also hyper hype too.

Mostly because of the tons of mechanics and features the dev has talked about over the last year.
And for a first game, they seem to have a lot of professionalism in the way they're conducting themselves.

I got hyped after playing Karryn's Prison. I read somewhere on here that this game's gonna be on the same, if not higher level. It's now evident that it's not going to be like that, but still looks like a promising project. Still, even with reservations in mind, this is one of the few threads I'm following on here. Time will tell!

Frankly its a LOT of different reasons. Hot and shapely blonde doesn't hurt as the protagonist, but also having a seemingly high degree of customization in how she acts and fights? Massive on its own in terms of roleplay potential. Seems to have a decent amount of sandbox elements for an RPG, let alone a H-RPG at that, plus all the dungeon diving aspects and status effects that are possible, its hard not to be a little excited frankly.
I don't have my expectations sky high that the game will be something revolutionary in every aspect, but if the game delivers on being both fun and degenerate? I'll be plenty stoked. Won't lie the fact that magic potential, both holy and your more typical witch/wizard type builds are affected by how corrupted/lustful you as a character are, down to the point that having a creampied status effect will heavily hinder a holy/priestess style build, but bolster a magic focused build, really was the moment I realized that this game could be something pretty special so long as there is a decent amount of content to it. The devs heavy focus on discussing roleplaying potential and keeping the game pretty open gameplay mechanic wise is also a huge reason I'm interested frankly. The more roleplaying ability and options I can get in my RPG the happier I am, and the better it ties into the actual lewd mechanics of the game? All the better! Seeing games that tend to separate their actual gameplay from sex always kind of boggles my mind as to *why* the game is even a hentai game to begin with, so seeing the actual gameplay itself be tied to the lewd content in a way that seems meaningful is a huge plus too.
Really, without letting myself get overhyped and hopefully not disappointed on release and once the game gets a good translation, there's just a ton of potential on display here. My only real worries now is how it all comes together, how satisfying it is in execution, and how stable the game is on release, since this is the studios first title, but they seem to be pretty professional in how they handle themselves, so I do have hopes it'll be a pretty stable and bug free release, even if that seems like a pipe dream these days no matter what genre or niche I find myself looking at.

There hasn't really been an H game that's come out recently that looks like it has the same quality as karryn's prison, its all been either shitty AI games or subpar Renpy games.
