Any interesting builds you guys going for dungeon progression? I've done almost all the h-scenes so im looking to play the dungeon mode now
You can definitely find some interesting passives/abilities in the dungeon and from the statue that lets you level up. Managed to grab one that lets you stun occasionally on slashes, and more or less just focusing on a more light weight and fast acting build. Frankly, aside from the hollow knights/red enemies, none of the enemies are all that difficult to defeat (skeletons posing just a bit of annoyance). I do want to try and make a new save and level up a fair bit before triggering the photographer that has you fight off goblins, just to see what happens if you win that fight, and if you'll still meet up with the guy who is searching for the ghost girl, but the game seems like it has a good deal of openness in terms of combat.
What I'm looking forward to most though is to see how dedicated I can be to making a glass cannon gun/light weapons build of sorts. I haven't been able to find a gun in the trial, but I have found access to making rifle bullets and decently gaining bullets.
Also, will admit its pretty easy to rack up decent amount of funds within one to two days of starting the game. The cup gambler in the bar being a good supply for such, and if you can buying gunpowder from the materials shop and selling it for the mission at night that shows up is big gains, and you can even buy a flower to sell each day from the flower seller for a decent profit. Definitely like how valuable beauty and speaking are as stats ultimately too, makes me want to do a total merchant/charisma sort of build while letting mercenaries I hire take the brunt of combat in the dungeon for me. Might be good for a second run, or even just trying for the fun of it on a first run through the game.
