Quick question: since it’s explicitly mentioned and repeated that Karder’s children are bastards—which strikes me as a little odd, as I thought (seemingly confirmed by a quick Google search) that the children of concubines were seen as legitimate, at least partially; perhaps not of the same status as the children begotten by a wife, but certainly not as low as a bastard; and, in any case, they are Karder’s children and (on a morally good playthrough at least) should be brought up with love, a good education, and so on and so forth—but anyway, I was wondering, considering the current children are called bastards, if it was already determined who would be Karder’s lawful wife, and whether she will be predetermined or up to the player to choose (as from the current selection of concubines).
