You need to kick the tree which is blood-stained, so that a grenade would dropped. Now use the grenade to stun the boss , then after stunning it, you could now damage her just by kicking it.
Is guro/necro content avoidable? And if it isn't then perhaps there should be an option to disable it? This way the game could have more players onboard.

Haven't thought about that but may be a good idea and, more importantly, not much rework. Will add it to the backlog.
And yes, I plan to add CGIs and even more animations to this level.

I'm going to finalize a few things before calling this game 'done'. For one, I'm looking to add a few more anims to the Raven level and plan to include those in an update in ~2 weeks. Let me know what you'd like to have added -- cast your vote in the poll on the main page.

Dev Update - I'll be adding a few more H anims to the next release, which will hopefully be in the next week or 2. In the meantime, I've been working on a new feature called 'playground'. I've been wanting to add something like this for a while, basically an editor that allows you to build a scene. That way you can 'play' with all the different enemies and traps without having to go to specific sections of certain levels. Here's a screenshot of its current state:
This will definitely be prone to some initial bugs, and I'd like to get people's feedback on if it's a fun/useful feature to add. Therefore I'm going to have a beta just for this Playground feature and it will be open to everyone. PM me if you're interested.

Not really - you can't create portals or trees, stuff like that. But you can add as many enemies and traps as you want, and position them where you want. So if you want to fight a group of zombies, or see a bunch of Geminis step on spikes, or lure Raine into a lightning trap, or kill yourself with the trap of your choice... yep, you can do that
