In the first case, the developer is usually detained（拘留）, and in the second case, the developer is subject to criminal penalties (in chinese is 刑事处罚，usually about three years in prison after confiscation of profits).
One way to stay safe is to keep your mouth shut and not mention to anyone that you are producing online pornography on the Internet, and use in different ID.
